What do you girls think about Vaas ? You find him attractive ?
You like his looks,or is it his character,or a bit of both ?

No.

No. No.

No. No. No.

I wouldn't touch him if he was the last man on Earth. Looks OR character-wise.

Now Male Shepard on the other hand... *drools slightly without meaning to*

I wasn't just playing Mass Effect for the chance to upgrade a bunch of guns...

Ooh, and the silver-haired guy off Dragon Age 2 - what was his name again. Fenris.

God, his voice... *shivers*

Garrus is sexier in my opinion
(At least he's got reach and flexibility!)
Yep, I have to agree with you there.

I went all the way back through the series with a Female Shepard to get with that guy.

Totally worth it.

so for example mabye Vass being the sexy psychopath he is needs a woman to "bring out his soft side" (fix him)
Id say this isnt at ALL unique to women or the female gender. Ever heard of the Tsundere?

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Tsundere

A LOT of guys i know like fictional women who are not only mean and aggressive in general but mean and aggressive DIRECTLY to their love interest. This is a different take on Vass who you could say was seen as "A dick to everyone else but i can bring out his softer side and fix him to be good" because youre directly watching them abuse the love interest (aka you). I find it equally as disturbing and as such hate Tsunderes with the white hot fury of a thousand suns. It seems to be the same stupid mistake to me and i find it equally as common. Tsundere characters are very popular in some places on the internet.

Im equally weirded out by obsession with these as i am with people like Vaas for women. It seems equally creepy because in the latter it seems like the realistic expectation for a relationship is someone being aggressive and abusive to disguise love. No healthy human being does that. Thats grade A totally not healthy needs to fix serious issues.

Believable. I mean, it's just fantasy. How many evil female characters have hoards of male fans and of course, fan art? Despite the fact that if it were in character, then "aroused" is the very last thing you should be.

So, yeah, if people are attracted to that, then fine. Why should this be an issue?

That, and in Vaas' case, he has charisma. He's already gained a spot among the most famous villains of nerd culture for his quotable dialogue. Not surprising that some may find a certain dangerous charm in the character.
"well men do it too, what's the problem?"

Alright. you know how when a woman makes a "men are stupid" joke, they're having a bit of fun, and when a man makes a "women are stupid" joke, they're reinforcing a centuries-old legacy of institutionalized oppression? same shit here-- when a man fantasizes about being dominated by a woman, that's a thing that basically exists on its own, but when a woman fantasizes about being dominated by a man, that's reinforcing the notion that women want to be subservient to men, and, perhaps, it is their natural state to be subservient to men, which is a goddamn social tooth abscess.

And maybe a girl thinks, "That's a load of bullshit! I don't have to be socially responsible about the things I say and do! It's not like it hurts anybody!" Congratulations--you are now the female Rush Limbaugh.
Well, people should be smart enough to differentiate (apologies for any spelling errors, it's been a LONG time since I bought that one out) between a person's fantasies and what they actually think about the world, and what they want for society.
