Hating it really.

I don't hate couples. I'm happy for them.

I hate the fact that no one has ever really considered doing anything special for me for Valentine's day. I hate the fact I'm still single stuck in a school that is 75% guys and 25% not interested girls. And I hate the fact that, due to my decision to stay behind an extra year, I still have another year and a half before new territory and the HOPE of getting a girlfriend arises.

I guess this year will be better than last year. My ex-broke up with me on the 12th, so that kinda sucked. Only uphill from there!

Being extra emotional and feeling lonely I expect.
And finally, I hate hating Valentine's day. It makes me feel like such a bitter person. I don't like being bitter.

Also, tracking every Valentine thread, tracking its creator and killing his puppy.
Now I want to make a valentines thread and keep watch on my dog with a gun to make sure you kill no more innocent puppies. Also I'll go to school. Go home. Do homework. Play games. Bed. In that order
You are naive if you think you will see me coming.

Also, puppies are never innocent.

I'll be spending the last hour or so of the day standing infront of Gamestop waiting to pick up Marvel vs Capcom 3. Anything else done throughout the day is irrelevant.

....I'll be alone locked in my room so I wont have to see anybody who actually has a significant other celebrate the day.

I don't have a clue, I'm freaking out about it actually. I very recently started seeing someone I really, really like - and now I have no idea if doing something Valentinesy is too forward, or if it'll be seen as too casual if I don't and ARGH. I'm thinking pretend-I-forgot-and-see-how-that-goes.

Usually on Valentines Day I'd send my SO a card, last year I completely missed it (first year of single life in 5+ years).

I have no real plans for Valentines Day.

But I'll see what happens. Doesn't have to be anything elaborate, nor a dinner, nor in person, to be fun.

Bringing my wifey for sushi, friend has a Japanese restaurant in the Hilton by the airport here, she loves the place already, on Vday it's gonna be special, anything is special on Vday no matter where you go.

Nothing planned. I am happy though that this will be my first Valentine's Day when I actually have a valentine <3
Hey, me too! I won't get to see her this Valentine's day, but that's ok.
Same here, actually. Won't get to see her, but I'll get to at least talk to her ^-^
Dawe! So many warm fuzzies! I'm making chocolate covered strawberries. Wish I could send you some without them getting funky.

Probably nothing and it's wierd because it doesn't usually bother me at all but I think the difference is this year is that many of my single friends are now gone or not single any more. We usually have a single's celebration where we ***** about and laugh about relationships and funny encounters with the opposite or same (depending on orientation) sex. But being pretty much alone in singledom this year is just incredibly depressing. I'm not sure whether I should ask out this girl I'm interested in or whether it'd come off as a bit corny so close to Valentines Day, I dunno.

I'll probably send myself a bunch of flowers and and candy to my place of work so my co-workers will think that I am loved.

I don't have any plans yet, but last year a group of us went out together and laughed at all the couples because we could. We're so sad. Oh well. Maybe we can do something like that this year. Better to be single and in a group than single and alone, right?

Yet another 'holiday' i do not celebrate for what? 15 years now? Always seemed a bit silly. If you like someone you dont need a specific day to show it to them, feels forced and then there is the whole commerce thing going on, trying to sell you all them widgets that supposedly show your affection in best way.

Ignoring it is what i usually do.

Plan? My plan is to go to school, talk about videogames with my small group of friends, and pretend that I'm not quietly hoping, pleading, that one of the many distributed roses will find its way over to me.

Same as every year. Well, once I got one, but it was a joke. My friends actually got pretty mad at the person who did it. I love those guys.

I'll probably end up reminding my brother that he should do something for his fiance because she doesn't want to directly tell him and he doesn't get any of the hints.

I don't know if I'll be doing anything specifically with my boyfriend as he's probably working and I have lessons during the day and there isn't much time in the evening to do anything due to the distance.
I haven't celebrated V-day before and I don't see the point in starting now. In my opinion you shouldn't need a specific day set aside to show someone you love them. It also seems way too commercialised, like every other holiday that exists.
