Valve is a bunch of hirers.

Edit: I don't dislike valve, actually they're one of my favourite companys . I just find it interesting that unlike developing most of their own games from scratch such as Blizzard or Bioware, they only join them partway through development. I created this thread just to point out that I found this rather interesting and so that I can get opinions on it.

Hahaha Bioware only developed one game from scratch. The rest are clones with a different skin. Blizzard too.

Something unfortunate about Valve is that they're huge now. At least gearbox still responds personally to you. ¢¾

Um, would just like to point out that the Super Mario Galaxy's are Grand Theft Auto 4 are nearing the top of Metacritic. And according to steam Bioshock is the highest rated.

"the highest rated PC game on Metacritic" and it's tied with Bioshock. Anyway, tied for first hardly makes Valve an awful developer.
