I'm sorry to hear you judge a game by it's length. I judge it by it's quality. To each their own I suppose. I beat Metal Gear Solid 2 in one sitting the day it came out. It took me 13 or so hours. Guess it wasn't long enough.
But then, like I said, I judge a game on quality. I'd rather have a great short game than a long mediocre to bad one. (But don't let that stop you Bethesda.)
Length is only part of my judgment. The first part, but only a part. -As I consult my 'rules of gaming enjoyment vs the cost of said game when compared to it's length' stone tablet that hangs in a place of honor above our fireplace- ... I have to address the issues we are talking about first. I think that multiplayer/co-op is becoming too much a burden on my single player experience.
Good for you that you can sit and play a game for 13 hours straight, I can't. Good for you that you think your money is spent wisely on your preferred games.
I'm always pretty tacky. Also, I can't sit and play games like that anymore at all hah. Note the game I referenced. Between work and fatherhood it may take me 2 weeks to play through a 10 hour game. I'm pretty ok with the current state.
Don't say you guess when you know your answer, it's tacky.
Cheers
