So, when will they let us have L4D2 weapons with L4D1 characters in all maps?

Still, this is awesome. Looking forward to seeing how heroic the sacrifice of one of my favourite characters is.

Yes, yes, hell yes! Usually I'm angry about having to pay for this content on Xbox while PC/Mac users get it for free, but this sounds awesome. A new three-map campaign that has a huge impact on the series and one-fourth of the full original game for seven bucks? Awesome. Good to know that I'll get some new fun in this game for a small price.

Hooray. Truth be told, as much as the L4D 2 campaigns are a lot better than L4D (in terms of mechanics), I really digged the night-time, mainly urban, slightly more horrible feel of L4D, to say nothing of the characters. Nick and Ellis are fun and all, but Zoey and Francis take the cake every time. Having even one of their campaigns put into L4D 2 is great news for me.

Not to be a whiner (but there will always be one and I guess I'm that person this time) but why aren't they integrating L4D1 into L4D2, hardly anyone plays the original anymore, once in a blue moon can I actually get together a competent team to do anything in the game, god bless you if you try to get a versus match going. I love the original maps, and I'd love to see how they'd all play out with the new weapons and zombies (yes I know there are the custom campaign versions, but I'd love to hit quick match and go straight to Dead Air instead of making a game and sitting for like an hour getting people to join).

Unless L4D3 goes back to the original survivors hunting down CEDA and you have a whole new adventure with them, why not let the players have a fantasy team of old and new chars?
