Ok, My toon is a vampire in Skyrim, you know how it says "no Mana/Health/Stamina regain while in the daylight"? Well I'm still gaining mana I have the Atronach Stone, I have both recovery perks, and I have the Archmage robes, plus two items that I made that gives me a 62% regain bonus. Plus I got some items that I made to that boost my mana by 62 points, I got The two for one enchantment perk. And some how I regain mana like a beast I'm playing on the ps3. So no mods before you ask. I built my toon that every two levels I put a health, and the other two I put it for mana. At the end result I got 990 Mana total. Crazy right? But To get back on topic, I still gain mana for some reason when I go out in daylight as a vampire. Can someone please explain to me what is going on?

P.S. oh yes before I forget. I'm playing as a Khajiit I don't Know if that's a factor.

Vampires in TES games function a bit differently from other vampires. Basically, as long as you drink blood regulary you won't be getting any malus. If you stop drinking blood for several days, you'll quickly see the regeneration come to a crushing halt.

So be well-fed and keep kicking ass. Start starvin yourself and face the consequences.

But the longer you go without feeding, the more powerful you become.
It's a trade off. You can keep feeding and people won't notice but your powers are okay at best, or become a total monster that kicks arse but makes people run in horror.
I once got jailed for a very long time in Oblivion, just after contracting the disease.
It was a pain, but a great laugh.

Wait, wait. You're playing Skyrim (for the first time, it seems), and you're calling your character a ?toon?? Not a PC, or an avatar, but toon?

That seems incongruous.

Also, you might want to look at the TES wiki [http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Vampirism_(Skyrim)] for good details on exact mechanics and their effects. Traditionally, TES games use modifiers rather than values, so base regen - 100% (sang) + 100% archmage robes + 62% other buffs.

To put it simply here, sunlight stops natural regeneration in vampires. Any buffed regeneration still applies.
