I always hear news about how people riot in cities when their team loses a big game (that, or they just blame the officials).

Maybe it's because I live in a state that has no Major League sports team of any kind, but I never understood why this happens. Granted, they didn't win, but they still made it to the finals, so shouldn't they be happy about that?
