Maybe, but he provides no evidence for his opinion. An opinion is all well and good but I've heard nothing but good stuff so far about Velvet Assassin, and I'm looking forward to at least playing a demo or something. I can make up my own mind. Maybe if he did a proper review instead of just saying 'it sucks', I'd be more inclined to listen to him.

I agree with this man, but...

I've seen Twilight, read Twilight (Well, about a chapter of it, even Jane fucking Eyre was more interesting), and played Halo. They all sucked.

Especially Twilight, I don't even know how there managed to be a book worse than Jane Eyre.

Anyways, back on topic:

I got half way through the first book before the boredom killed me. Does that count? Oh, and the film was poorly shot.

Im inclined to agree with this. Up until now i had only heard quite good things about this game so there you go.

The majority of critic reviews have not been so great. Then again, I'm not going to take sides until i give it a go.

Oh. Fucking. Please. I hate Twilight and i've never seen it because i've seen the commercials, have a functioning brain, and can form complex opinions based on my dislikes and likes. Same with most JRPGS.

To close? No, I have never played Halo, I never will, and I will hate it. I have seen the commercials, I have seen the commercials, trailers, etc, and not been impressed.

There IS a slim chance that the game might be good, but its not my fault for not trying it, its the Marketing Department because i'm damn sure not going to gamble sixty dollars on a game that doesn't interest me.

I read Twilight (on the insistence of a friend), and I hated it, less than I was expecting to, but I did. Whilst I agree that you can hate something without having experienced it, you cannot try to criticize it. Without knowing the faults that something has, you cannot effectively comment on those flaws. You can rant all you like about how bad Twilight LOOKS, but until you have read it you cannot say how bad it actually IS.
(I have played Halo, and I enjoyed it: its a playable, if mediocre, shooter with an enjoyable story.)
I wasn't planning to play Velvet Assassin, but thanks for the warning anyway.

The game really isnt that bad. The voice acting probably only sounds bad because its a British accent and you're not used to it. If you want BAD voice acting, take a look at "Two Worlds". The germans actually speak german, which is refreshing, it would just sound awful if they spoke English in a sucky accent.

The controls are fine. They really don't need to change; they're simple, easy to pick up and easy to use.

The stealth system is fairly standard, but I've not found anything wrong with them. The initial sneak speed is slow, but you can level it up so you're faster later.

As for glitches - I've not encountered a single one.

It's definately not a ground-breaking game. It doesn't really do much thats not been done before. The storyline is disappointingly short. But it really doesn't deserve the bile being spat all over it by the OP.

Also, I think morphine mode is pretty cool.
