There are games out there that piss us right off. Games that are so un-fun due to difficulty that beating it makes one jump up and down screaming profanities at the screen. Things such as "Yeah Bi*ch I beat you! What Now!" Or that are so difficult that once you get to a point you cant beat you quiely set down the controller eject the disk/cartridge and go skeet shooting. Or, my personal favorite, games that just are so god awful that their mere existence raises your ire to def-con 5. I wanna know what games have done this to the people of the escapist. For me it would have to be Battletoads. That damn speeder level got me every time. I still cringe at the thought of it.

I got one: The "One shot, one kill" mission from CoD4 on veteran. I have NEVER been more angry in my life than I have during that mission. Clear over a hundreds guys who could make Annie Oakley look like a blind person with no thumbs, and my only support one dude with a broken leg who takes a shot maybe every five seconds. There are now tooth marks in my controller because of that mission and I still haven't beaten it.

I don't know why...

But I could not beat red faction 1.

To this day it remains alone on the 'unbeaten' pile. Mother fu....

That reminds me that my PS3 and my PC (not laptop) got burned inside my car 2 weeks ago while I was moving... anyway the game I guess would be Indianna Jones and the infernal machine for the N64 although it isn't even the games fault I always get mad when I can't make the first jump cause my control stick is too crappy to run fast enough, although I just got a new N64 controller that is in perfect state sadly I can't play that game anymore cause it got burned... and my PS1 Metal Gear solid 4 and my Jedi Knight 2 Jedi outcast :(

Defcon 5 is the lowest level of alertness and the one that makes me rage the most is Out of This World, the whole damn game, it's just impossible.

A game that pissed me off... I've actually stopped throwing tantrums at games, but I suppose the one that really pissed me off? STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. And no, it's a great game it's the fact it destroys my video card that pisses me off.

Every five minutes it crashes. And yes, I've confirmed that it overloads my video card. Sigh... I always hate when it comes to that.

Ah good old Mario Party Stigmata, oh the memories!

OT: Probably Gia or the Golum Twins on Chrono Trigger the first time I played it, way back on the SNES, actualy that entire era in the game pissed me off, wasnt nearly ready for it.

I would also have to say battletoads. Aside from that Terminator Salvation. just a Gears of War clone with the textures changed, and with a rushed development.

The Last Remnant; the game itself is freakin' awesome, but the Rare Monsters are so overpowerd... it makes me lose my faith in videogames :p

Baldur's Gate. The original one.

The kobold caves. Imoen on point, serching for traps. Suddenly, a Kobold Commando gets into range, and fires his BFG 9000 and splatters Imoen all over the walls.

My fingers were sore after hitting the Quickload button too hard too many times...

I heard the air plane mission on veteran is quite rage inducing.

On Topic: The racing missions in GTA: San Andreas really angered me. Especially the ones in the forest. There were so many times when I would get mad because one wrong move and you could go from being in first place to being in last just by hitting a turn wrong and landing in the water.

My first time(s) fighting Darth Malak as a dark side Jedi... I stopped playing for a year because I couldn't beat him in over a week. Took me one try with light-side Jedi I used after returning to the game.......

Battletoads. That level in the tunnel with the speeder bikes was painful at best.

Oh gods yes, it was horrible. Also if you didn't keep an eye on all your characters at all times, the pathfinding would cause one (most often a frail, mage-type) to wander off and get ganked by respawned kobolds. FFfff... @_<
