OT: Almost every later Borderlands boss except for the last one. Skagzilla and that one guy who had the boom-stick (rocket launching shotgun) and was protected by hanz and franz.
Yeah Wesker in RE5 was a massive pain, but that game was frustrating enough where it made sense that the game would end on so frustrating a note that I'd never want to play again.
On the Ashley front, yes she was useless, but at least she knew it and you hide her in a garbage can. Without a player to control her Sheeva was worse than useless, she was an active hindrance for most of the game.

Amphisbena from Xenogears. She knocks you down to minimal HP, and then you have to spend an hour slowly whittling down her HP and keeping your characters barely alive. God, that blew.
I can't remember his name, but the guy with the fishbowl on his head from Spiderman 2. Mystico.. Mysterio... something like that?

One I wouldn't care to look up at her skirt - I'm trying to survive and two while I do thank her for that one time - I must say what the hell was she doing all those other times?mikerotch said:
The Darkness, I think was it's name, from Dark Cloud 2. First, you had to go through a boss rush, which wasn't too hard, and then, when you actually got to him, he would run away and shoot you with some kind of projectile, if you got too close, when would knock you away with lots of damage, he could only be hit by one of your characters at a time, when he has about a quarter health left, he starts using some uber, unavoidable attack, that, unless you were blocking would kill you, and if you were blocking, would break your block and almost kill, you, unless you weren't at full health, in which case, it would still kill you. But that's not all! you had to do it in TWO MINUTES! No kidding. And he isn't even the final boss! But I haven't beaten him yet, and probably never will. He makes the rest of the game look like a cake walk. a cake walk filled with skeletons, giant robots and evil balloons.
If I got anything wrong, please correct me, it's been about a year since I fought him.

Captain Jack from Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. His skills took no mp, dealt massive damage to your party, and he could heal himself to full hp almost instantly, wich he would spam repeatedly throughout the fight.
Me: "I've almost won!"
Jack: "Heal."
Me: "FU__!"
Also the Holo holo bird from Baiten Kaitos Origens. Pretty much the same problems.
EDIT: I can't believe I almost forgot about the final boss in Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits and the final boss in Enchanted Arms. WAY too much hp, massively damaging attacks, and hour to 2 hour long fights. Not to mention, the fight in Enchanted Arms is more of a boss rush, and the game refuses to heal you as it does after every single other fight and the whole time in AtL:TotS you are told to kill little creatures the boss spawns to take his sheild down, and when you finally take the last one down and his sheild drops to zero, he unleashes a beam attack that hits almost everything, and insta-killing your entire party AND restoring his sheild to full, so IF you survive, you are told to do it again because you can only damage him if his sheild is down. Not to mention the only save point is about an hours before the fight, half hour of combat, half hour of unskippable cutscene.

So I've found a few bosses in the games I've played of recent annoying, but they don't seem to compare to an experience of mine way back ago. Specifically in question, Garai from Chrono Cross. I just simply wanted whatever that blade from him was, but oh no. He has to pound me into the ground. Over and over again. It was quite painful, and the only time I really truely got fully pissed off at a boss fight.
Honorable mention goes to Frank Horrigan at the end of Fallout 2. I actually did find him difficult for a couple or so tries. Enough to infuriate me slightly at his presence and such. Of course, I did manage easily enough on my last attempt.

Y'all know, when I realized to both recruit the Enclave guard against him *and* hack the room turrets against him. Then it seemed really too easy. But hey, serves me right for him being the only guy I fought in that entire oil rig.
Genshin? Equip upgraded Falcon Talons and use forward Y-button combo when he misses an attack, then dash away. The LVL 3 (or was it lvl 2?) X-button counterattack is godly with a good amount of invincibility frames. Alternately, counter with Y-button combo for Dragon Sword then dash away. It ends up working every single time you meet him. The only thing that changes is his damage output and maybe a few new (insanely evil) tricks during his last fight.TheNamlessGuy said:
