Video game characters you really hate

You mean besides the main character of almost any JRPG? Well, then the most recent character I hate would have to be this guy...

I was so eager to take Nova's side over his, and quite satisfied to see closing cinematic.

I know he's supposed to be all emotional and whatnot, and who wouldn't after seeing their mum get killed, but goddamn was he annoying!

I actually thought he was a girl at first and than when I figured out it was a boy I just started wondering why he's wearing capri pants and where the rest of his poncho went...

I never thought he was a girl, but yeah, why the fuck is he wearing capris? I'm not sure if those are popular in Japan, but it's still....odd.

Then again, I'm the one who only wears woman's jeans

now that I think about it I don't think any of the characters were dressed like a normal person save Sazh and Snow, even if Snow did look like a creeper with that trench coat on and Sazh did sort of look like a Pirate...

Kratos. I understand his appeal and from a desgin point of view he's well done but really he's the most unintresting bad ass i've seen since duke nukem and at least the duke was laugh out loud corny. All Kratos does is kill shit. Now granted the shit he kills happens to be gods but their is so little character to him. The only intresting about him is his tragic backstory but once thats over and done with your left with just a mindless killing machine.

Its fine if you liked the games. the controls worked and it was kinda fun killing shit with chain blades but their is no difference between Kratos and the terminator. Yes their both great at killing shit but no one would watch the terminator if their wasn't a plot beyond kill everyone...so why does Kratos get a pass?

I never really got to use either Spectres or Ghosts, since I finished his storyline last (due to my hatred for him). Oh well.

I got one and I registered just to say this. Lym from Star Ocean: Last Hope was annoying as hell. I borrowed the game from a friend and he had warned me about the impending doom but I didnt realize how frustrating it was to have a midget say 'kay? every time she spoke. Like after I was done with Lemuris I was really hoping that either this Oompa Loompa would just die from a plot twist or at least go all Darth Vader on the team.

Now, I realize that, whatever the OP says, this thread isn't really for characters you hate. Some people might take it that way, but most will probably just conflate "annoyance" with "hatred." In fact, that's been the general attitude so far.

I'm not doing that.

I distrusted Kyoka almost immediately, for her attitude and the implications that she bullies a girl I was rather taken with. I disliked her boyfriend Gaito from the instant I heard of his reputation as a bully and possible rapist, and he terrified me during his first on-screen appearance, when his overall demeanor gave every credence to the rumors. That was just at the beginning of the game.

By the end of the game, though, I didn't just want them to die. I wanted to kill them personally. Not in the game, mind you; I wanted to strangle or stab them myself. I wanted to bite their throats and drink their blood. They scared me so badly that I wanted those two hell-beasts in human form to suffer, every bit as much as they made me and Aeka suffer.

By the end of the game, I wanted to repay them in blood.

And strangely enough...I'm not really exaggerating. I don't think I'd ever been, or have yet to be, as enraged as I was during the "Aeka: Fight Against Reality" scene.
