Sure, the other characters mentioned could kill you, but the Spy could ruin you... And you'd suffer as long as you were alive!
He could disguise himself as you, and do horrible, horrible things. And you'd take the blame for it.

Any FF character excluding zidane, Tidus and Wakka.
Reasons: You wanna get sliced (notably cloud and squall/seifer, fighter from FF 1), shot (Squall again, Irvine, Barrett), beaten (Zell, Tifa, Barrett - the guy is like...black heavy weapons guy, Selphie probably counts with her nunchaku), burnt (Firaga anyone?), frozen (Same deal here) (I WAS FROZEN TODAY!), zapped (I think), poisoned (there), melted (is), exploded (a) or smashed (pattern) or stabbed (here - most of these use magic)?
Also, Tommy Vercetti and Duke Nukem
