Video Game Crash?

Here we go again, people predicting that there will be another Video Game crash.

This will happen as much as the apocalypse did, you know back in 2012? Stop kidding yourself, games aren't going anywhere.

I think developers will stick more with the last gen (PS3, 360 Wii) than with this one tbh

Since you are saying "we" I am going to assume you are one.

You still did not answer my question, what do you need all that money for?

Also, if you did not make as much, would you still make games?
If the answer is no, I don't think you should be making em.

But that's just me.

It is my money and what I need it for is no one else's business. How people became so entitled to believe they know best how people should use and spend their own property I will never understand. I'm not telling you that you have to work hard to earn a comfortable living with toys, college saving funds and nice things. If quality of life is not important to you that is fine. You don't have to work hard or you can work in a career that you love but doesn't pay well(such as artist or actor). However, don't tell me or anyone else what WE need. It is none of your business.

Oh no, not this sort of thread again. It's not something that can be predicted, not by armchair gaming industry pundits and some contentious assertions about DRM, industry practices, etc.

However, I honestly don't care, if there's an industry crash there is still a massive back-catalogue of games to play, and games development will bounce back as long as there is demand.
