For me, well there's a lot. BioWare, haven't played all of their games, which isn't a lot, but I have played several of their games and found them all fantastic.

Many would say Valve, I suppose, sadly, I have only played Left 4 Dead, *holds up flame shield*, which I thought had the best multiplayer in any game.

I'm tempted to say Rockstar, but I'm sure many would disagree. But c'mon! Rockstar popularized the open-world genre and is currently the best at that. Uh, or not? I love their games! Well, except for Manhunt, that one freaks me out.

There are a few developers I could name - my favourite developer would be Valve; not only have I never played a game by them I disliked, but I've loved every game I've played by them.

Blizzard, Bethesda, and Rockstar also have yet to disappoint me. Oh, and I suppose Infinity Ward, since I really enjoyed both Modern Warfare games.

*Edit: Oh, and Kojima Productions - how could I forget those countless hours I spent loving the Metal Gear series to death.

Telltale Games. I haven't played their earlier stuff, but for adventure game fans I feel like their product is rather sublime.

Valve also makes pretty rad games. I really can't think of any that out and out suck. I jsut wish they worked better on my computer.

For me, personally, would be Valve, or, to use a defunct developer, Black Isle.

I would have to say that Capcom is one of the best because a lot of my favorites are made by them (Resident Evil 4, the Devil May Cry series, Onimusha etc.), but another contender would have to be Valve since it seems that everything they make is absolutely outstanding.

VALVe - I own and have dominated every single one of their games.
Naughty Dog - See 'VALVe'.
Insomniac - Haven't given all their games a shot, but I know of all of them, and know that they are all really good.
Team ICO - Only played SotC, but I understand that ICO is one of the greatest games ever, and if it weren't so cocking expensive, I would own one right about now.
Kojima - MGS... nuff said
Rockstar - Never mind, I forgot about Red Dead Revolver.
DICE - BF is a really good series.

None, every developer has had their one game that I scrutinize. No developer is perfect and every dev I have ever purchased from has created a game I consider crap. I don't play favorites with anyone, not even the devs I am most fond of. Probably the closest dev to never releasing a "bad" game for me would be Atlus, and even that is pushing it.

Harr, Naughty Dog. Since most of it's games are the Jak and Daxter series. XP
This, except that they actually made four Jak games and four Crash Bandicoot games, and both series' were absolutely incredible.

This too. Sooooooooo this. Shadow of the Colossus is a freaking masterpiece, and Ico is... well, it's Ico. I mean... yeah.

Valve I guess. Maybe Bioware. And...

Hey, wait a sec....

Where are all the people turning up to say "oooh valve sucks, you're all fanboys"? The thread just won't be the same without them.

Oh yeah. Them too. Although Ico was a bit repetitive. But SotC was awesome. Here's hoping they can keep it up with Last Guardian.

The only developers who never dissapointed me are two indie devs:
Tripwire Interactive (Red Orchestra, Killing Floor,...)
and
Ska Studios (The Dishwasher, Survival Crisis Z,...)

I would have said Rareware... But after the whole leaving Nintendo thing they have kinda been releasing crapola.

Back in the day they were one of the kings imo though
