If it was games I HAVE played, then it would probably be Bethesda or Bungie. But I have heard that Rogue warrior was hopeless and that Halo 2 wasnt that great.

To be fair Bethesda didn't actually make rogue warrior they only published it, the games that Bethesda actually developed are all pure unobtanium.

its never made games the HL series are very good L4D and L4D2 are also very good and Portal is also a fun game

BioWare are definitely top of my list,while I prefer to play Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate or KotOR than Jade Empire or Dragon Age, none of their games are below a 7/10 for me. If this were last generation, Capcom would be on the list too, unfortunately, their recent output runs the gauntlet from average to just below in my opinion.

Isomniac, Naughty Dog, and Pandemic. Never seen a bad game made by them. Well, none that I've played, anyway.

Definitely Valve, I have all of their games and love each and everyone one.

Telltale Games. I haven't played their earlier stuff, but for adventure game fans I feel like their product is rather sublime.

Valve also makes pretty rad games. I really can't think of any that out and out suck. I jsut wish they worked better on my computer.

Epic games and Looking Glass Studios comes on the top of my head, sure some of Epic's games aren't that good in the eyes on critics, but I love them! As for Looking Glass Studios, c'mon their games are fantastic! Deus Ex, System Shock 2, THE THIEF SERIES!!! Too bad they went out of business .

Ninja'd. Nintendo are also one of the most important developers in history with all their original material at the beginning and for introducing new technology and clever idea's to improve the over-all gaming experience.

Nintendo had some bad games sure, but I would say they also had a lot more great games than any other developer, unless I have forgotten about any other developers just as big, which I seriously doubt.
