A developer that never made a bad game, hmmmm.

I guess Valve. Not my favorite devloper but I got to give credit where credit is due and their games have always been quality titles.

I am also going to go with Ska Studios. While I haven't played every game they made I have seen nothing but good out of them. On that note "I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1"

I also have the T-shirt "I PLAED A GAM3 WITH ZOMB1ES 1N IT!!!1" (So funny, but so painful to type)

Bungie. Haven't played as much of their work as I want to, but what I have played has always been good. A little rough sometimes, but never bad.

And Bioware. If you can make a Sonic game playable (Subjective) than really, what can't you do?

Finally I would like to include a few developers but not nessasaraly the companies they work for.

Hideo Kojima. I personally really enjoy the games he make. However Konami has made a lot of titles he had nothing to do with and a few of them are not that good.

Shigeru Miyamoto. I think everyone knows him. He's made a lot of titles in his time and I think pretty much every one has been good. Maybe a few below par but never outright bad. However Nintendo, well maybe. It really depends on what games they develop and what games they just publish. I don't know. They have a very long history with lots of attached games. It makes it harder to go though. Also it's easy to blame Nintendo when something comes out on their system. You know what. . .

Nintendo. Untill someone can give me a Nintendo DEVELOPED game that was crap.
I forgot about the Wii [Name] products
Dah but some people like thoes games. There not so much bad as they have a different audience.
You know what? Screw it.

I could probably look though my games and find others but these are the ones I first thought of and I think that means something. (Well to me at least)

Relic, Bethesda, Valve and Capcom there are a few others but that is all I can think. Also I am glad you mentioned Rockstar as I would like to point out I hate Grand Theft Auto. I find it to be the more boring and mundane pile of shit ever and I can't believe it is so popular(I can see the appeal but that sounds better with my mini rant). I appreciate what it has done for open world games but I find it to be complete and utter shit but thats me if you like it fair enough though I however, don't.

Valve and DICE.

I'd mention Atlus and Bioware as well, but I've played far from all their games, so that wouldn't be fair.

the list would be too long.

Bad games by big studios are very rare.
Mediocre games are more common.
Most commercial failures are "average".

Now the only developer where the entire back catalogue is worth my MONEY, has made 1 game. cdproject red studio.

So you are gonna criticize Naughty Dog for making one of the most innovative games of the year in a "copied way to much" way, and then add Infinity Ward and Bungie to the list? Glad you also added Epic. For Epic fail!

Anyway, here's my list:

Valve
Sucker Punch
Naughty Dog
Blizzard
Team Ico
Santa Monica Studios

That's it.

...Capcom...
I'm gonna call you on that and assume you haven't played the old-school games from the 90's and below, and raise you with a game called "Turok" ;)

And I'm gonna have to say Insomniac for not making a single "bad" game.

Valve definitely. Every game has been solid, fun and engrossing.
Rockstar I would say also. GTA4 may not have been my favourite game ever, but there is no denying it was good. The story missions could have been a bit better, but Niko was a good character. Roman, however...

BioWare has made good games. But from what I've heard their first game ever was just okey.
But I didn't really like Dragon Age

Valve is also pretty good.

Blizzard
Lost Vikings
Rock and Roll Racing
Starcraft series
Warcrat series

Troika Games
They made 3 games, all of them awesome RPGs.

This thread is kind of silly.

Maybe if it was "Which developer has always made great games", but big name developers rarely make truly [i/]bad[/i] games.

OT: Mine would be Bungie and Bethesda. ODST was not truly BAD just overpriced.

I'd say Rockstar, if not for State of Emergency.

But, I'd have to go with Bioware.

Also, lol that NO ONE has mentioned Square/Enix.

Easily Valve.

They may not release much and they not release anything very often, but Valve are one of those devs I don't complain about when it comes to delays because they haven't made anything that, in my eyes, has been anything less than perfection as of yet.

Valve, Naughty Dog, Insomniac.

I'm gonna take a risk and say Atlus too. I haven't played many of their games but a lot of them seem amazing. Demon Souls and Game Heroes in particular ;D

I wanted to say Titus but I did a quick search to make sure I wasn't talking utter crap. Dick Tracy? Superman 64? God... That would have looked silly to say that. They did make Prehistoric Man which I loved as a kid though. That's got to count for something. :(
