Has anyone ever played drinking games associated with video games? If so what were they?

Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Drinking Game

Two players, and everyone else chooses a side to support.

If a player scores, the opposing player and his retinue of "fans" must take two shots (or you can work out your own scoring method based on what you're drinking)
If the ball goes off, that "side" must all take a drink, or save up three offs for a shot.
A foul equals half a shot.

While playing Halo 3, when ever you hear somebody say your gay you drink...needless to say its hard to get past the first round without passing out from the alcohol.

Sure, it is not that original, but it gets the job done.

Drink when you win is far better, as it introduces a handicap, and is by and large more fun for everyone.

I played quite a bit off Soul Calibur 3 and 4 by punishing the loser to drink.
This is how it worked:

The loser of a match takes a small sip of pure alcohol
If the loser gets beated by a ringout he has to drink a small glass (around 5 sips), so there's quite a lot of tension not to get kicked out.
The winner stays, so he has a higher chance of drinking eventually.

The game worked pretty well, and it was hilarious if people were drunk and trying to fight for their survival next to a ledge. Ofcourse if we didn't have a lot of time on our hands we chose the ridiculously small stage.

The bastards actually made me drink after I jokingly jumped off the cliff after winning

Mario Kart.

One shot of something weak after each lap. If you come first, you drink nothing. Second, you drink one shot. Third, you take a shot and down a pint, and fourth you take two shots and a pint. I try to push for a harsher penalty, but people like to back down a bit too much.

No bitches in my house, though. We outlawed half-assed drinking games/drinking at the turn of the new year, it pissed me off.

A shot for every stroke over par.
Makes real golf more fun too.

No, but my brother once played Brothers In Arms for the X-Box while wicked drunk. He would lean over side to side, to make the game move. He then started shooting up at nothing. He stated "Video games are hard when you're drunk". He then passed out on the floor, so we dragged him about and took a few pictures of him.

Smash Melee. If you get KO'd, you take a shot, simple as that.

L4D as Infected. Shot every time you manage to incapacitate (not kill) a survivor. Best at LAN parties. You could also take a shot every time you get incapacitated as a Survivor.
