I haven't found anyone who actually believes that rubbish, besides my mother.

And my mother will be damned before she'll let anyone change her mind.
Well, this but in my case, it's both my parents.
Sucks to be me i guess...

You need to dig up this article so we can all print and laminate a copy to carry with us.
You sir, win an internet.

OT: Noone I know is opposed to video games, 'cause my entire family are nerds to some degree, and most of my mates are, too.
And the ones who aren't can at least differentiate between killing everything on screen and killing everything in real life.

Was this the article?
OT: The only person would be my mom and she has started playing Guitar Hero a little, so it's a start.
That would be it. Completely shut her down :p

Another mortal saved from the media.

You are now rewarded with the Gamer's Medal of Honor.

I dun know what that means, but it must be good. Congratulations.
Yes! I've always wanted a medal for proving someone wrong in the name of justice/video games. I wish I knew what it meant though...

In 9th grade, a few of my more girly friends thought games were stupid, so I got them to play Halo 1 when we had to go to my house for a group project. They sucked at it but had a lot of fun, so I enjoyed proving them wrong.

Video games do cause violent actions, by that I hope you idots (you know who you are) don't think I mean murdering people, it's more of a short term adreniline rush that might cause a slight amount of anger or violence, for about 2-3 minutes, then after that the person is relaxed. But overall no, video games don't cause violence 100% of the time, as your "teacher" claimed.

Teaching my dad how to turn my games on ... it's a start at least.
For me the problem arises when he turns them off, as he has destroyed several save files over the years.
