Finished the survey, hope it helps.
I'm also in the process of doing a university project about the subject, good luck with yours. :)

Sorry I couldn't put three TV shows, I don't watch a lot of TV. Archer is awesome though.

Mine too, my last three movies were Triangle, Ocen's Thirteen, and Cabin in the Woods. Teach me to try showing people some movies they'd never heard of that they'd love.

Games for me were Sandbox for iOS, Far Cray 3, and LA Noire. I'm not sure what that's supposed to say about me. =p
One of my last films was a German language made for TV movie =D

Hey, first of thanks for helping me out with the survey! Don't worry about your answers at all, every detail is significant even if you think it is a little 'weird' :p

Also, since everyone is asking to see the results, I suppose that since everyone seems interested and as long as I could find an appropriate way to present the information to you I could put it up at once the unit has been handed in? I'm not quite sure what would be the most appropriate method to put it up, would you want to just read the final product I produce for my unit? (Baring in mind I am a Level 4 HNC/D Student at a College in England and in no way a professional researcher etc.)
Britain!

That aside, don't do it. We're curious but not everyone who replied has asked to see the results right? It's better to keep up the professionalism than risk doing anything that anyone might consider unethical. If you're research ever gets turned into something that's freely available it'd be cool to see it. In the end you're in a way better position to decide whats appropriate or not but as curious as we are, I don't think anyone's going to particularly mind if you feel there is no appropriate way to present the data

I struggled with the "what attracts you to these choices" question... I'm so indecisive.

Anyway, interesting survey and I hope you get what you need from it, would be interesting to see the results.

One thing I found funny was that you had an "I don't know" answer to a "Do you believe" question. It's not about knowing, you either do or you don't, on whatever rational or irrational grounds you have. And yeah, the last one could have done with some more options or the chance for clarification, I think games can definitely affect you in the short term but don't lead to the development of an aggressive personality.

I was tempted to say the last movie I saw was pornographic, I did not say it though.

Done.

Please post a result in your work. I'm curious. PM me, I might not be back in here to check it out.

I might be useless, as I am pretty opinionated.

Done and done. Is tearing up over the end of a game an extreme reaction? Because I don't have violent fits or stuff like that, so I used that as an answer to the question.

Filled it out. Some of it kinda ended up as a bit of a rant against EA, ME3, and DA2 lol.

Did anyone else put in for the TV shows: "Game of Thrones S3E3", "Game of Thrones S3E4" and "Game of Thrones S3E5"?

Done, though I couldn't find a common theme between XCOM, Dragon Age, Injustice, Wreck-It-Ralph, The Godfather, Cloud Atlas, Game of Thrones, West Wing, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Edit: It may have been interesting to include books in the "other media" section. I believe I read somewhere that violent books have a stronger correlation with violent action then movies or games do. Though that was years ago so, don't hold me to that.

Done. Just in time for Barney's next walk.

I was expecting multiple choice, now there's no time for a cup of tea...

We handle quite a lot of statistical data that is then transmogrified and bent to make specific sense in a scientific context... asking for names is not a very scientific thing to do. What matters are the parameters of sex, age, income, vaginal/anal/self-servicing, consumption habits (food/alcohol/tobacco/illegal substances)... pretty much anything can be taken into consideration depending on what the resulting amorphous mass of numbers is to show, prove or dismiss.

Names are not one of those parameters, ever. If this is the face of science today, it's no wonder it all goes to shits.

I call shenanigans.
