Portal, Pac Man.

KotOR is very close as well but that's mostly a personal opinion. I suppose the inventory system could have been improved.

I am going to go with Resident Evil 4 (original GameCube not the ps2 or wii remakes). It had a good story that went on for a decent length unlike most of today's games that I can beat in two days, mercenaries mode, a weapon upgrade system that worked very well, and it had some of the best graphics of the last generation.

No,even my favourites i can pick holes in,they just tend to be lots and lots of small nitpicks rather than large design flaws.

Ocarina of Time. The game still has the most interesting designs as well as the amazing challenge/puzzle lay-outs. It also was the first to do many new things like targeting and using songs to solve puzzles and what not.

Specter. One of the first 3D games ever made as well as having a huge selection of options, weapons and enemy's to kill.

Everyone and everything has flaws, even videogames. Team Fortress 2 has the Scout update, Fallout and Half-life 2 has idiotic NPC's and Mass Effect 2 has an end.

Flawless games, no.

But there are some that I can't criticize. Thief: Dark Project / Thief: The Metal Age and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

Oh. Yeah. And Portal. And Half Life.

Too many already said Tetris and Pong, so I wont go there.

Baldur's Gate 2 SoA and ToB.

I can't criticise this one; only lament the fact that in more than a decade it hasn't been surpassed. DA:O *wishes* it were BG2, biatch.

Halo 2 is my close second. It has faults, sure, but I don't make criticisms of them because in many cases they only add to the unspeakable awesome.

While not my favourite game, I'm going to say Portal, because I can't criticize any point about it, and I liked it a lot. Some games that I like more all have negative points, for instance:

Baldur's Gate 2: Not very well balanced, partially ugly graphics and steep learning curve.
Fallout 3: Oh the bugs and crashes, they almost ruined the game for me.
Diablo 2: Repetitive on a whole new scale, still fun though. Also, too many clicks!
Mass Effect 2: Incredibly boring mining mini-game, too simplified in weapons and skills.
