Quite simply, what is the most hilarious or downright peculiar bug you have ever encountered in any video game?
For me it would be in Star Trek Armada, a little known RTS in space. There were 2 bugs from this game that made me laugh pretty hard (and weep a little bit) so I present the runner up and the winner.
Runner up: There was a powerup ability the Borg could use in the game which scrambled your user interface so all the menus went everywhere for about 30 seconds. I had this used on me just before I went to save the game and thought nothing of it. When I reloaded that save, all my menus and other parts of the UI were crammed into the corner, overlapping each other. I almost couldn't exit the game.
Winner: In the same game, but a different level, I saved during a campaign mission (was Klingon vs. Romulan, controlling Klingons) and quit the game. I load up the mission the next day to continue the game, and find I am in control of...the opposite side. After trying to force the Romulans to lose to continue the story didn't work, and after reloading and then trying to kill the Klingons didn't work, I was forced to restart the mission. Frustrating, but hilarious.
Of course there were many from games not involving Star Trek, usually sandbox games. So what were some of your best ones?
