Another update and I must say it is a nice new Discovery.

Games For Gamers
An Italian sites but written in English. Strange indeed.
I must say it have some games I saw for the first time, and I must say that for my is something VERY rare!!!
I mean.....I just found a adventure game with Master Chief on it!!!!:

Pretty much everything I can think of has been listed, plus a lot that I didn't know about, but there's two that haven't made the list: Wikipedia and HotU.

Wikipedia is a surprisingly good source for trying to find games, because if they've got an article about a given subgenre of games, you can bet they've got a list somewhere of every example they can think of. For example, if you type in "list of first person shooters" in the search bar, it'll take you to a list going from the latest release all the way back to Mazewar.

HotU (which is short for Home of the Underdogs) is a database/abandonware site for games that, for whatever reason, didn't sell well on release. It's primarily focused on old PC games, but it's got a few console games buried in there as well. There's a couple of versions of the site floating around now, since the database was put out by the owner of the original page after it went under, but you can find the version that doesn't actually host any warez (it's just the database + links to places where you can buy new or used copies of the games) here.

Wow, this is a very, very good site and I support it. It's hard finding a good video game databases and they're a very needed commodity. I remember a thread a while back asking for some and nobody had any decent responses. At all.

I've usually had to use Gamefaqs to find games. But it is a very limited site with only a portion of the games out there. It doesn't even have games like DuoPrincess or Ele Paper Action on there. And those are by EasyGameStation, the same folks who made Recettear.

Definitely going to be bookmarking a lot of things here.

The reason I didn't put Wikipedia is well......it is for everything, not only videogames.

Even if for me look very confusing, I think a simple "copy/paste" action any time I want to put a new Category will do the trick. Or I am very wrong?

To make a new category, you'll need the following two things. Let's say the category name is "Category Name", not that in same places, you need to remove the spaces, so you will instead write "Category_Name". I'll colour code the two for convenience.

To add the heading, you need (directly get the code from here)

which will give you

Category Name [#Category_Name]

and to add the actual category

[[color=black]b[/color]][color=green]Category Name[/color][[color=black]/b[/color]]
[[color=black]small][][[color=black]/small[/color]]

and you get

.Category Name

So just copy/paste and replace where appropriate.

Note that the purple text doesn't need to be the same as the green one, it only has to match up, so you can even call it "banana" or whatever you want without spaces, as long as both instances are named the same.

Also, the dot in the second code block could be replaced with whatever you want. Well, aside from a space. I only use a dot, because the forum here automatically turns everything surrounded by an a tag into a link, so it's just a workaround to not have the title as another link.

EDIT: added a href="#" to the second block. If anybody did click on the dot, it wouldn't open a new page.

EDIT 2: Hahahha, didn't know this would actually work here. I replaced href="#" with href="javascript:void(0)" which will make the link not work at all.
