You have to be much more specific if you are looking for help; I can literally link you to anything that uses the words video games. Give me your objective or something.

That's...incredibly vague. A project 'on video games' could be anything: describing the various roles required to create a game, the way video games have changed over the years, the social effect of video games, public perception of video games, current trends in the gaming industry (in terms of tech, marketing, stylization, genre and/or type popularity...), social commentary in games...heck, for all we know you could have been tasked to make a game for the Imagine Cup. We need details before we can provide help. What exactly are you trying to find/argue/present?

Next time, could you be more especific? Not sure what kind of style you want the game to be.... or what type of game... more of RPG? FPS? Do you want to make something pixelated style?

These sort of especifications!!!

Buy a dinosaur. Attach laser guns to it's head. Bring it to class.

Seriously though, explain more about this project.

Grade
Type of project
What do you have already
How this project is being presented
etc.

By project on video games, do you mean a school report? If so, try contacting people in the industry. The Extra Credits gang might be a good start. There are also plenty of resources with information on whatever topic you are looking into. Hope that helps.

alright, anything defending video games as art (other than extra credits, I know about them), talking about the controversy video games face, or anything that can be otherwise helpful when making the "video games deserve respectability" argument

Hello my fellow gamers. I tried asking for help once before, but was met with demands of being more specific. alright so here's what I could use right about now:
some sources that explain just what separates video games from stuff like, say, movies or tv
a source that gives me a counter argument as to "mature" games shouldn't be banned.

okay let me explain the project I'm doing here. I'm supposed to write an essay describing the merits of video games, to people who will probably not be familiar with them. this project would be best done in a scholarly and informed light seeing as how I'm in college right about now. I'm well aware of the great extra credits, and will do my best to search galileo, our school's resource manager. please give me something useful, the final presentation is due in a good ten days. thank you
