I created this thread also in the past in the Gametrailers Forums just for fan.
So I decided ti create a new one for The Escapist site also.
So lets start:

Let just say for a moment that all Videogames characters we loved and know, exist in a world. A Videogame World. In this world evry sigle character you know from the first videogame to now exist. But what these characters do with their dailys lifes? How all of them exist in harmony or chaos?

-Does Dante from Devil May Cry hunt demons from Shin Megami Tensei series?
-Does the Doom Guy Helped Isaac Clarke in some difficult situations in space-stations with horde of Husks from Mass Effect series?
-Does Cooking Mama working with the Zealot from Aiur Chef?
-Does Manny Calavera Knew the best place to find clients, are the places that had wars between Warhammer 40k Armies?

These are some examples I can think for now.
What do you think? Which videogame characters:
-Working in a restaurant?
-Working in a Bar?
-Working for a Street Gang?
-WOrking in a hospital.
-Fighting for a secret organization against evil or good?
-Fighting for the sake of the Earth or other planets?
-Working as Stuntman?
-Working as a actor?
etc.

I will trying to update if I have time, how this kind of world would worked if existed. ^^

This seems pretty fun ^_^

-Working in a restaurant: Master Chief (My friends and I always used to call him Master Chef)

-Working in a Bar: Salem (Army of two) I can just see that being incredibly fitting

-Working for a Street Gang: Francis (Left 4 Dead)

-Working in a hospital: Kain (legacy of Kain)

-Fighting for a secret organization against evil or good: Jade (Beyond Good and Evil)

-Fighting for the sake of the Earth or other planets: Slash (Guitar Hero: Legends of Rock)

-Working as Stuntman: Chuck Greene (Dead Rising)

-Working as a actor: Marcus Fenix (Gears of War)...Tell me the thought of that isn't hilarious

Actually I can say without any doubt that he does.
Dante is a character in Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturn,
you fight him on more than one occasion.

Indeed, I forget Dante was in a SMT game.
Well, maybe then together with other Demon Slayer will do the trick.

that only applys to the original release i believe, if memory serves, they replaced Dante with the protagonist from the Devil Summoner games

Well I guess I'm happy I got the good release in the Gamestop bargain bin.

working in a restaurant - Agent 47, because, hey, he would make one killer curry.

In a bar - Garcia Fucking Hotspur. Why? Because he spends near to 8 hours drinking hell liquor. (No doubt with Lara Croft doing some form of stripping in the same establishment)

In a street gang - Natan Drake. All his pent up anger...

Doctor/nurse - Paxton Fettel. Just cause...

S.O.A.G.O.E - Either Alex Mercer (fighting for happiness and sun shine) or Gordon Freeman fighting for evil)

Spacemarine - Daniel from Amnesia. "Sir what's the best strategy for killing these mutant aliens?"
"Run the fuck away."

Stuntman - The companion cube...

Actor - Cole Phelps could be Nicolas Cage!

I think the release with Raidou was Japan only.

Atlus Co, Ltd. eventually announced a second version of Nocturne; a "Director's Cut" entitled (Shin Megami Tensei III NOCTURNE Maniakusu) aka: Maniax. It featured a number of new additions and adjustments. This version was used for the North American release, as well as the PAL version which was titled Shin Megami Tensei III: Lucifer's Call. The Maniax release was largely a novelty and even features Dante from the Capcom Devil May Cry series as an optional companion and story arc.

A later edition, called the "Chronicle Edition" was released with a limited "plus" version of Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou vs. King Abbadon in Japan. This time around Raidou and his feline sidekick Gouto fill Dante's shoes for a slightly less strained pairing.

Caim amd Angelus from Drakengard work as a two person army for hire, who charge based on how many enemies there are to slaughter (The more there are to kill, the less it costs). Also both work part time as Mimes in the times when there aren't that many battles

Daniel Fortesque is the Curator for the local museum for ancient and magical artefacts from across the various game universes.

Solid Snake is a Private Detective

Hotsuma from Shinobi is an Acrobat daredevil
