So to introduce my thread, it's to discuss our personal views of the world around us and how we view life in it.

To push the ball down the hill, I think there's not even fun, ya live in a city and you're

surrounded by concrete and your only leisure is some sort of media that you've bought or

drinking at a club, or smoking weed. I'm in a state of longing for ignorance like the hippies

had, they could go in their mid 25s acting like children in the forest, now we have to start

figuring out what we're gonna study in college by 16 or accept that life's going to be a pain in the ass either way.

The world is filled with cynical people pointedly ignoring the good around them, preferring to wallow in the bad and depressing because it's "cool".

The world is what I see or hear around me. Anything more distant than that, anything I don't tend to personally experience is less real to me than movies about vampires.

Life's a *****, and then you die. There is no meaning to it beyond that which we give it ourselves, and there is absolutely no point in believing otherwise. We've all got two choices: either live our lives how we want to live them, or waste them wallowing in guilt and self-pity. Since we only get one chance, I sure as hell know which choice I'm going to make.

If you can read this, your life in better than almost everyone who has ever lived. That doesn't mean you don't have a right to complain or be unhappy though, complacency is the enemy of progress. It does mean you shouldn't give up on the world. It is measurably getting better, most of the problems are because we don't work hard enough to share the 'betterness'.
