I should note that I never actually played the game, I just happened to find this YouTube clip.
I actually like this next one better, but as it is sung by a heroic outlaw trying to overthrow a corrupt king, it probably doesn't really count as a villain song.
He's an anti-hero and that's a cover (is that the right term? A song with changed lyrics?) of a disney song, good enough for me.
Funnily enough I've been watching the disney classics and writing down the villian's every evil deed to determine once and for all (in my mind) who is the greatest disney villian. So far Professor Rattigan (Great Mouse Detective) has the longest rap sheet, but Scar (Lion King 1) did some pret-ty bad shit. On another note, this is probably the most ridiculous use of my time I've ever willingly done and I don't regret a thing.
OP: my choice is in the quote. [sub]Still waiting on that movie...[/sub]
True story. In high school we watched this in our math class (we had finished all our stuff ahead of schedule). One black jock dude turns to the other during this song and and says: "Scar is fucking pimp dawg." the other guys responds "True that."
I don't know if this speaks better of our society or the writing in the film.
Permission to say I'm crazy but I actually prefer this one to Jafar's reprise of 'Prince Ali'. One comment on the vid even refers to him as 'Persian Wolverine'. Excellent.
I'm trying to think now, but I'm finding it hard to remember anything from films (other than Be Prepared, which I've got playing now because it's brilliant.) because usually game villain themes end up being boss fight themes.
From hearing one or two lines chanted as the fallen prince surveys his kingdom in the end of The Frozen Throne, to the haunting rendition that played during his demise (Which should have been a cinematic cutscene too but Blizzard are too lazy and cheap as of late).
