to bad he has yet to make a movie that isn't terrible.
Nonsense, Pitch Black was friggin awesome.
ok pitch black was alright but every other movie hes stared in has been complete garabage.
Saving Private Ryan was garbage?
But he didn't star in that movie.
Actually i think hes the guy that gets sniped.

Saving Private Ryan was garbage?
please, he died.
Eh? What does that have to do with it?
What it mean's he was hardly a driving force of the film.

Weird how much that really does look like him.

Some other geek credentials? He auditioned for a part in LOTR - but I guess for an actor in the movie it isn't quote so geeky as someone who has SEEN the movie a bijillion times.

I'm sure he has seen it billions of times.

These are just the sorts of people that I get a real kick out of. The gamers/geeks that you wouldn't expect to look at that they'd be so into the gaming/geek culture.

I had a friend in high school.. 6'6, played water polo, giant guy, real athletic.. HUGE gaming nerd. Giddy for Halo, now addicted to WoW.. you just never can tell by looking.

Yeah I watched that last night I found it so strange that something like WOW has become so mainstream that a film star and chat host can discuss their children and themselves playing it. Always have liked Vin Disel one of the few film stars who can still do the hard guy character and make it look good

well, Yeah, there's that - WoW is Ubiquitous.

But Vin Diesel has been a gamer for years.

He was a D&D geek when he was in school

Vin Diesels sexy bald head makes me happy in my pants.
If only he weren't so damned short...
He's almost as tall as Schwarzenegger. I wouldn't call that short.

Though he does look short.

hahaha

"In the 30th Anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons issue of Dragon Magazine, they examine the fact that Diesel played Dungeons & Dragons, and reveal that he had a fake tattoo of his character's name, "Melkor," on his stomach while filming xXx."

oh Vin... You rock.

Like that would stop you if the opportunity presented itself!

It's nice to see famous people who are out and open about their enjoyment of video games, regardless of the genre.

Alright, I'll admit I had no idea Vin Diesel was a gamer nerd. And that's awesome. Not my ignorance of the fact, but the fact itself.

Wow that pretty cool, when ever i see a celebrity i get thinking, maybe one of the people on my friends list could be a celebrity and i can be doing dungeon runs and every thing like they are normal people. Also the helium thing was hilarious.

It really does make you see him in a different light..

Like if back in the day you discovered Arnold Shwarzenagar (probably horribly mispelled, don't feel like checking) had a gigantic comic book collection.
