Wow. That's all I can say. I've never played Ultimate Fighter before but yesterday I hired it out and it was the most fun I've had in a while. I loved it! It seems alot smoother and more coriographed (or how ever you spell it) then other fighters such as Tekken. It didn't have the annoying lighing works or stupid animal characters like Tekken, it wasn't as hard as DoA (but everyone knows, noone plays DoA on hard. We play it easy to unlock costumes to show off the hot girls) and it wasn't as cluncky as Mortal Kombat. I enjoyed the quest mission which seemed more free then Soul Calibers.

All in all, I heartly enjoyed Ulitmate Fighter 5 and recommend it to fighting game fans. Does anyone agree, or what's your favourite fighting game?

What Japanese RPGs are to Yahtzee, fighting games are to me.

Oops! Sorry. I made a big mistake. It's supposed to be Virtual Fighter 5. I don't know where I got Ulitmate from. Is there a kind mod out there that could fix that?

i like tekken because its so complex compared to other fighters...the fighting system is actually very deep and there are tonnes of possibilities in terms of the variations in moves. imo its def one of the better fighting series out there and blows other series' outta the water (IMO). Why do u think its spawned so many worldwide competitions etc?

I also raise the eyebrow to the pick of Dan, but my respect might increase as using him effectively is something I've never seen anyone do.

I haven't played Virtua Fighter in a long time, probably not since the first iteration, but it was the first 3D fighter I ever played. I'm led to believe it has a much deeper fighting system than its rivals by a friend who really got into it on the Dreamcast, but most people don't seem to want to put in the time to learn when they can just button mash through Tekken.

I'm a Street Fighter/Soul Calibur man myself.

The new Virtua Fighter is really fun with different levels of toughness. Some levels you can easily button mash your way through. Others can really make you pay.

I have a friend who thinks he's the king of Tekken. That and Mortal Kombat are pure button mashers. At leats MK has novilty value. And that's why I love it so.

As with Dan... That would be the greatest insult to be beaten by him. He's worse then Jonny Cage.

Basically you throw out Tekken when you play Virtua (Not Virtual) Fighter. I did that back when I played Virtua Fighter 4 on the ps2.

Tekken's never really impressed me. The only character I liked was the Panda. It was the most insulting thing to be beaten by a cuddly Panda when you're some form of Arch-Deamon/Angel-thing.

I am a big fan of the Streetfighter series. Street Fighter 3rd Strike is the bomb. Its probably 6 years old but I still think its one of the best fighters out there. Looking forward to SF 4 sometime next year.

My best friend is really good with Dan, but he used to play in tournaments. He got good with that character for the specific purpose of humiliating other players.

being a 2D fighting fan (Street Fighter Alpha 3 FTW), Virtua Fighter is one of the only 3D fighters i really enjoy. well, that and Soul Calibur.

Tekken & DoA = crap IMO.

I only ever played Soul Calibur (At the time called Soul Edge.) in the arcades, I may give the new one a look when it finally comes out.
