Virtual Pop Star Drives Vita Sales in Japan

I'm pretty sure the low sales of this game have something to do with the fact that they're re-releasing it on PS3 next year. I was going to go out and buy a Vita so that I could get this game, but then I decided why dish out all that money for a new handheld I'll barely use when the only game I want for it is coming to a console I already own? I'm just waiting for the re-release, and I bet at least a few other people are too.

Yeah, this should surprise absolutely no one. This kind of a game was certain to sell Vitas in Japan. And yeah, I'm still positive they're working on getting a Vita Monster Hunter game as well. Currently I think they're still trying to get Portable 3 working on it...

I know people can be picky, but... I still don't see the problem with the Vita right now. It's a bit expensive, the memory cards kinda suck... but I got 23 games on my Vita that I can play anytime. And that's not counting the 3 or 4 other Vita games I want to get by the end of the year.

I don't get the hate, but I guess I'm just a special case.

I'm not too keen on Miku.
I prefer Len & Rin's songs.
And It's sad how the Vita is doing poorly, but then again, i never quite liked the handheld concept.

The funny thing is, I was considering getting a Vita specifically so I could import the Hatsune games (and various other Japanese games). There is another similar game on the 3DS staring Hatsune too but importing that one wouldn't really help me at the moment because of stupid region locks.

They ARE in the game. So is Meiko and Kaito (shudder). Also, after three games without it (not counting Dreamy Theater), they finally added Black Rock Shooter. Whoo!

... oh. Well that's a start, I suppose.

I don't think I'll ever understand the whole Hatsune Miku thing. Maybe my tiny western mind just can't handle it, but I'd totally buy a PSVita if it actually had some games on it.
