Now, this may very well have been a mistake on Play.com's part, but if this news is true, then the chances of me buying a Vita have just skyrocketed.

What do you guys think? Would these titles be enough for you to cough up the cash for a Vita?

For myself? Doubtful.

As for Monster Hunter on the Vita, that's not really a surprise, Japan loves Monster Hunter so NOT putting it on the Vita would be a death sentence. Unless your talking about it being released in the US / UK as well, then THAT is shocking.

I hope it's true.

Monster Hunter is the only thing that would get me to buy a Vita.

Hah!! FF Type-0 as a Vita game? I so called it, and it was the most logical thing to do when they announced that they were localizing it. Better to carry around a single Vita chip than 2 UMDs, and better controls and graphics too.

I heard about the Monster Hunter leak the other day, good for fans of the series I guess. Monster Hunter was always pretty shitty and boring in my eyes, but it still is one of those system sellers up there with Pokemon, Dragon Quest, Mario, ect...

I am looking forward to what else gets revealed on Friday when Sony has their Vita event. Probably be mostly japanese games, so little to no word on CoD, AC, or Bioshock. All I would want right now is a new SOCOM and Dissidia games an I will be happy.

Hah! As long as the people in Japan aren't stupid enough (and I seriously doubt that they are) they'll just wait a few months for Monster Hunter 4 on the 3DS. I KNOW they don't like it that much, especially since they have Monster Hunter 3 on the PSP already.

Also, why does no one seem to give Capcom crap for this? This is, what, the THIRD Monster Hunter 3 they've released? No wait, it's the FOURTH. Come on, no one should get away with this kind of stuff.

Monster Hunter doesn't seem like my cup of tea, but since I have a Vita I'll probably pick it up and give it a try.

I really hope they make a Vita Elder Scrolls game. The TES travels games were too far ahead of their time to ever really catch on, but I think a Vita title could do really, really well. And I'm not talking an Oblivion port or some nonsense, but a new adventure (it would obviously have to be smaller in scale than the main games, ala Travels).

Monster Hunter is one of those game's that starts out REEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

but once you start fighting some of the large monster and get past the "Kill 10 small monsters" or "Gather 15 of this rare ass annoying item."

The first time you K.O. a Barroth or go Toe-to-Toe with a Rathalos, you'll be having a shit ton of fun, probably a lot of deaths too. Pro Tip: Catching a Rathalos' Fireball with your face is NOT advisable.

hm...Final Fantasy Type-0 and, Vice City made me raise my eye-brow but that's about all. I've tried a few of the current PSV games at an in-store demo/kiosk thing and I'm still annoyed by the motion control and, touch screen. The motion controls are no biggy honestly but the touch screen annoys me to no end. For clarification; the DS touch-screen is forgivable because there is one dedicated touch screen and, it comes with a stylus. I hate leaving finger-prints on the play-screen; especially since I grew up in an environment that strongly discouraged the touching of screens in general. That's just me and my psychosis though so pay it no mind if you disagree.

As much as I enjoyed Freedom Unite and multiplayer, I can't really consider this a major seller for me. The grind became ridiculous after a point.

As blasphemous as this is going to sound, I'm not a fan of Monster Hunter... wait! Put down that pitchfork and let me explain!

I tried, I really did, but I found it boring. Two games that did catch my eye was Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Tales of Innocence R, so the minute I get more green I'm so getting it.

[sub]...You may now skewer me with the pitchfork....[/sub]

Episodic TES games in different settings? I AM IN!
