Good Lord...

This makes my Okami Retrospective look like something dumb a complete idiot would write, and it took me two weeks! This must have taken you, what, a week? By Christ!

Well done, this is a fantastic, if very intimidating review.
It only took me three days.

very nice review, my xeno comrade. Even if you are a dirty, dirty piece of alien filth, I gladly admit that you have some excellent reviewing skills.

You filthy split-lip.
Thank you, it is nice to recieve such friendly feedback.

A damn fine review. So damn fine that I'm nominating it for TIEM's review of the month.
Oh cool, thanks. Do let me know if I get nominated.

Also I agree with you about my punctuation errors and problems with spacing, next time I do a review, I'll put more work into it.

I came in here thinking Halo: Reach was a meh game with nothing truly spectacular. No real urge to play it, no real desire. I've played all the games except ODST, and now I've got a big want to sit down and play it.

Shame that my 360 fried last month. I would've rented it at the very least[footnote]Coming from a guy with next to no spending money and has Portal 2 set on the preoder-as-soon-as-possible list.[/footnote]. Very good review Vrex. Very good.

First off, i'm sorry for not reading this earlier. I was too ill and depressed to wade through such a huge wall of text when this review actually came out.

Now, for the actual review of this review: very long, very detailed, very epic, very indulgent... just as i like. I really wish i had a 360 - between the customizable armour, the Forge World, the science fiction theme, the variety of multiplayer modes and the availability of jetpacks Reach sounds like a sort of game i would like. The only things i certainly wouldn't like are XBLA idiots (naturally) and this Emille you've mentioned - sounds like he's a bit of a douchebag.

By the way, if that alien-guy with knife-things on his weapon is a Brute, where's the hair on him?

This is possibly the largest review ever posted on the Escapist.....but damn its a good one!

On the story though I could not help but think it does not completely make sense if the Novel is considered canon. Because as you know in the novel the Autumn is in orbit when they figure out the Covenant are coming, in the game the Autumn goes into orbit at the end of the game when the battle is supposedly over. What I think may be the case is that this is before the book entirely and the whole thing is just a recon force that is eventually destroyed only for the UNSC to face the REAL fleet. But then there is the question of why no one even mentions it in the novel. Any ideas?
