Oh and Jennifer Hale voices the female Assault class in XCOM: EU. COMMANDER SHEPARD IS GOING HAM! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
FREEZE! CORRECTION POLICE!

No, in fact she does not.

Also, there's no such thing as a voice for the female assault class since voices are assigned at random independent of class and can be changed at will.

On the other hand, Kimberly Brooks (Ashley Williams) and Courtney Taylor (Jack/Subject Zero) are both in XCOM:EU as female soldiers.

Frank Oz... It's not surprising for a show to have multiple characters played by the same voice actor... especially when the show is something like the Muppets.... The Cookie Monster, Bert, Animal, Fozzie Bear and Miss Piggy are all played by Frank Oz. Possibly the greatest voice talent in the company.

But when you add the other big voice acting job Frank has done, you will hear something you will never be able to unhear...

YODA!

That's right....

These:

All have the same voice! And not only that, when you liten to them (particularily Miss Piggy and Yoda) you cna hear it!

TL:DR

[HEADING=1]Miss Piggy is Yoda!![/HEADING]
Dude, did you just spoil Star Wars Episode 7? I can't wait for that twist, more shocking than Vader!

OT: Laura Bailey, but only because she's in pretty much everything. Martha from Tales of Symphinia Dawn of the New World, Cheria in Tales of Graces F (not unexpected), female voice in Saints Row 3 and 4, English voice in two animes I've been watching (in English) and Catherine in Catherine. I looked her up and she's pretty much everywhere. Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Shin Megami Tensei and Mass Effect.

I've recognized her voice in some games, but mostly I've been thinking it's my imagination since I'm terrible at recognizing voices.

Dishonored surprised me about halfway through the game.

You know that woman who takes care of Emily after you bring her back to the hideout? The one who asks you to spare or save her uncle in the first or second mission?

I was listening to her talk about Emily with headphones on and her voice seemed familiar... And when I really focused on it, it hit me:

Then I looked it up to make sure, and it turns out they hired a bunch of TV/Movie actors to do voice work on this game.

Emily:

Another one I like is Phil LaMarr. Vamp in Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4 and Reddas in Final Fantasy XII (among many others), but I always remember him as poor Marvin who got his brains splattered over the backseat of a car in Pulp Fiction.

Mass Effect 2 - Grunt. I knew I had heard him somewhere, then it dawned on me. Grunt's voice actor voiced a great number of NPCs in Gothic 3.

Another would be in Risen 1, when I first met The Don. Instantly recognisable, but glorious all the same. John Rhys fucking Davies!
Last I checked Grunt was voiced by Steve Blum. Blum's been around, having voiced heroes, villains, and everything in between. Right off the top of my head I can tell you he was:

Grayson Hunt, Bulletstorm

Gene, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops

Galvez, MGS Peace Walker

Killer Croc, Various other voices in the Batman Arkham games

Marines and brutes in the Halo games

The Thugs-4-Less Commander in Ratchet & Clank 2

...and many many many more. Like I said he's been around.
Roger Smith, guy from Rogue Galaxy, Spike Spegal, man I love that guy.

If you play RTS games, he was also all of the orks in DOW 2.
All of them.

Also, to the above who mentioned Nefarious and Andrew Ryan: I played those games so far apart I had no idea, but now that you mention it I can totally hear it.

The most surprising one for me was that the boulder from Avatar was played by Mick Foley.

Gregory Alan Williams, the voice actor with chocolate wafers for vocal chords as the Lonesome Drifter (as well as other people) in Fallout: New Vegas, keeps finding his way into my television series. He appeared in Castle, and appeared again in The West Wing. Who knows where he'll show up next?

Also Laura Bailey and Ali Hillis, who appear in so many things it's hard to know where to start.

I recently played through Catherine, which has a lot of recognizable voice actors.

But I didn't realize until like the 7th night that the police officer was voiced by Richard Epcar, because after some encouragement he stopped sounded like a depressed old man and started sounding like Raiden from Mortal Kombat 9.

Laura Bailey.

I think I'm totally in love with her.

Mainly because she voiced this little guy.

From games I played, I recognize her as

Raspberry(?) from Disgaea thingy
Rise from Persona 4
female from Saints Row 3
Luna from Zero Escape

FF 13 (didn't play this one. but I think she voiced the trailer)

Checked her IMDB page and I didn't know she voiced Lady Comstock from Bioshock Infinite. I guess I don't know her voice as well as I thought.

Well, I found it difficult to believe that Philipp J. Fry and Dr. John Zoidberg are both voiced by Billy West, and those roles occur side-by-side in the same show!
Not to mention Zapp Brannigan and Professor Farnsworth.

The current voice for

Is also the voice of

And

And because I probably said those last three before as well, then of course I can't go without mentioning once again that Andrew Ryan is Quark from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

The guy that voices Akihiko in Persona 3 is pretty much in every rpg ever. He just keeps showing up.

Apart from that I've found voice actors I've heard both in jrpg's, anime's and visual novels. It's kinda creepy when your protagonist voiced a sex scene in a visual novel....

I got one that I noticed recently

This guy

is voiced by this guy

Took me a while to realize, somehow.

Then there's every time I can recognize Billy West as another voice on Futurama, because I think they only have him and the people who voice the female characters, at this point.

Also, for the Warcraft fans:

And

And

and

AND

AND

AND

AND

And finally:

All of whom are voiced by the frachise's lead writer, Chris Metzen:

I've had a few of these over the years, so here's a notable one:

See I was watching my brother play Tales of Symphonia (great game by the way), and couldn't help but recognize the lead character's voice, it was the same person who did the voice of Robin in Teen Titans!

Actually, that game had a lot of recognizable voices, like Tara Strong, Crispin Freeman and Jennifer Hale, to name a few.

...Which is why it pissed me off that for the sequel, Dawn of the New World, they chose to replace 99% of the English voice cast.

Not that the replacements are bad or anything, 'cause there are a few good voice actors in there, I'm just eternally miffed that I COULD have had Scott Menville and Johnny Yong Bosch, two of my all-time favorite English voice actors in the sequel to one of my all-time favorite RPGS!

I wish James McCafferey has done a lot more voice acting then just Max Payne.

OT: Man how come no one here mentioned good voice actors like Kari Walghren and Gideon Emery? Those two are bad ass voice actors.

actualy, once you start listening to the voices of characters in games...you just kind of never stop XD

oh, and Jonny Yong Bosch also was the voice of Nero in Devil May Cry 4...i spit juice over my TV when i watched the trailer for that and i thought, hey now, i know that voice...wasnt till i herd him actualy makin gthe Fighting noises, i thought OMG, its Adam, the 2nd Black Ranger XD

then there are all the famous sci-fi people in things like world of warcraft. how many of you can recognise the familiar ones like Michael Dorn and Colme Meany, but miss Sarah Michelle Geller or Amnanda Tapping (hint, both girls, both working at the bank, ones a belf the other is a human)

one of my fave moments was guild wars 2. the woman VA seem to be better than the men. i had 3 girls there, a human, a norn and a plant.

my human was Gabrielle from Xena. my norn was claudia christien (most of you will know her as the woman blacksmith in Whitehaven of skyrim, the one that keeps going on about Yorland Graymane) and our familiar friend Claudia Black, she did the voice for the female plant :D (i think they are sylvari? cant remember i didnt play her that much, compared to the human or norn...the bow class wasnt as much fun for me as the elementalist or the guardian)

This one is always my favourite.

As someone who watches anime dubbed (because fuck you, I can do what I want), I always manage to run across this guy:
in like, every cartoon ever.

Not only is he also surprisingly this guy from the same show

...but he's also these guys:

And he is so much more. They're just the pickins' from a few of my favorite anime. He's been in a tonne of video games as well.

Crispin Freeman is his name, and it's definitely worth checking out the amount of fan favourite characters he's voice acted.

Well, after watching Full Metal Alchemist, and it's AU version on Adult Swim, I became aware of Vic Mignogna as a voice actor as he voiced Edward Elric.
<youtube=VtpDwpRpCSg>

Then playing Dynasty Warriors 7 I ran across Xaihou Ba
<youtube=0dHWvmNUNpU>
I knew I heard the voice somewhere! It drove me to look up the VA! And it's Vic!

But what surprised me was he's also Jia Xu!
<youtube=i3tin7QNODg>

Yeah, it seems kinda small, but Vic's got quite a career.

I appreciate the other entries into this thread, too! I've noticed a few, too!
