Kane & Lynch. As someone already pointed out, I heard everyone hated it. Maybe they thought they would do better with an improved version, but I would have thought making a whole new game with the new mechanic was probably a better way to go?

starcraft sequel took me off by complete surprise... i mean sure starcraft was sorta cool at first, but it got old fast, and it was generally pretty crap really. And now a sequel like 12 years later? Whats up with that Blizzard? They should seriously just be spending that time and effort on something that actually counts, like making the next wow expansion.

Not a game, but Cats and Dogs 2. The original was a fairly average yet easily forgettable kid's film from 9 years ago. It's not even like it was something like Toy Story or The Incredibles that everyone loved, it was some mindless fluff that kiddies may enjoy.

Yet Cats and dogs gets a sequel and an add campaign while Batman Mask of the Phantasm got virtually no marketing and hardly any public recognition. It's times like this that the universe seems really out of balance.

CoD: world at war...o rly? there was a war around 1942?
I, as a german, am shocked and didnt know about that at all and cod 1-3
didnt mention it before:/ I hope at least we won this mysterious war and get to know

That's because you presumably haven't played it.

Sure, it was fun, but did not deserve a full release, nor did it deserve the 10/10s it's been given. It is an over-priced expansion pack, plain and simple.

Think of it as Modern Warfare 2, but more creative and fun (and different for other bovious reasons, although Mario in the CoD universe would be interesting to say the least)

How you can like that abomination of a game is something I do not wish to know.

sadly i like it too, idk how i would classify it genre wise but i had fun with it, the overall atmosphere was fun and being the bad guy was awesome, sending in minions like crazy was fun beatin the piss out of the medieval fat douchers.

plus i loved the intro music in the main menu...

although i have only played a few hours of the first one, i have beaten the second one to a pulp.

I was almost sure this was going to be about Two worlds. The sequel is looking surprisingly decent. I won't buy it till I see some serious gameplay or I am able to play a demo but looks okay for now. Final fantasy 10 did not need 10-2. It really really did not.

Sequels don't bother me so much, developers deserve to leech of the success of their first game, but it does bother me when a sequel is made instead of another better game that fans are screaming for
