Okay, this just happened to me while playing Fallout 3.
I was fighting Talon company mercs and I decide to target one in the head with V.A.T.S. The first shot hits, but right after that the merc suddenly jumps about 50 feet into the sky. Now he's floating up there, firing shots at me. Suddenly he falls to the ground, which results in his death.

Well while I'm at it...soething that happened to a friend in Oblivion. He was searching for a quest relevant NPC. After half an hour of searching he found his naked corpse under a bridge next to a dead Guard (and that definately wasn't part of the quest).What happened to him...?

I kinda had that same feeling when the game kept ending every 10 to 15 minutes. And the other was..oh theres the way i have to go. I don't know if it's my dlp or whatever but that game is REALLY REALLY dark and shadowy. LIke the devs didnt feel like making backgrounds so they kept on adding more shadows.Biek said:
playing driver 2, chicago, free roam, start off by doing a sick burn out and heading stright into a draw bridge, catching massive air, landing and when i get to the next intersection there are no cars, only shadows, so i stop and wonder WTF, so i look around and i see cars just dropping into the ground, when they reach the other side of it, they pop back up, or drop out of mid air
On Fallout 3 all the time I would exit some place and then I get a message saying Dogmeat has died or Jerico has died. And it just auto save :'(. Has this happen to anyone else?

Physics engine fuck ups in Fallout 3 are WTF moments for me, chased by 3 deathclaws(Old Olney) I turn to fight but have the wrong gun out it was a 10 mm pistol, aimed at the weakest one in V.A.T.S. one shot kill with the pistol on that one, which sends it in to the 2 behind it and knocks them down. Doubt I'll ever manage something like that again =/

The dark brotherhood quest to assassinate the huge Nord dude on the mountain. I get to the end of the path to his camp and get the "I have killed Nordy McLarge Huge..." text.
Curious, I go and look to see what happened and find him doing a headstand on top of his tent with the corpse of his pet wolf clipping in and out of the cooking pot on the fire.

I'd just stepped out of one of the subway things, when a raider falls from the sky pretty much right in front of me.
I rifled through his pockets, of course, and do you know what I found?
A rocket launcher and a whole bunch of ammo.
Rocket jump, anyone?
