Ok so, my flat mate has to be up in 1 hour (7am GMT) to finish his tearm paper (due in at 11:59am) for uni. However he (like the fool he is) went drinking last nite and has trouble waking up at a decent hour, so what music can i put on in his room really loudly to force him out of bed, together with the bucket of water i will be dumping on his head?

Any and all suggestions welcome fellow escapist's, the louder and more annoying the better.

Scream at them with a voice comprised of brutality, anger, and sheer...maniacal...insanity.

Then put it on youtube.

Find a copy of Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music" album. This is an extremely controversial album, since it's basically one hour of Lou Reed wiping his ass on an electric guitar with all the amps turned up; and EVERY. TRACK. SOUNDS. TERRIFYING [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr0KkzbbqPI]!!! (click link at your own risk).

Turn any one of those tracks up at full blast, and you have the perfect recipe for one perfectly pissed off / frightened flat mate.

I recommend Drowning Pool, especially "Bodies". Always helps me wake up feeling refreshed and ready to face the day.

Don't know what type of music he enjoys but I'd say go with what he finds annoying. If he's into Backstreet Boys, play something like Pantera, not Village People.

It might now be loud but it would be annoying and when coupled with tickling very effective. I've used this method a few times. if you were gay -avenue Q

Think horror film.

Cold water, find a youtube video of some lady screaming in a movie, flicker the lights, Put ice in his armpits, giggle to yourself, normal stuff.

Shout in his ear "GET UP! THERE'S A FIRE!"

Should work like a charm. (Never tried and don't intend on doing so.)

I actually used this one on my roommate once:

Crank it up to full volume. I found it appropriate, given the "rising" theme of the song. And it's just made of winsauce. More invigorating in the morning than a cold shower.

Alternatively, just crank up some Motley Crue. That will most definitely get you out of bed.
