Neither Nick nor Alvin need to die in this episode. Although, considering the difficulty of creating routes where two major characters may or may not exist, I'm guessing that they're next for the chopping block even if they lived through this episode.
Yeah, thats what my vibe is right now. I saved both of them, but if anyone can die its extremely likely they wont have much shelf life for the next episode or two, which is sad because Nick reminds me of Ben in a way and I really really really wanted Ben to make somethin of himself. It was probably the most demoralizing thing of season 1 for Ben to never get a chance to redeem himself. He fucked up, and fucked up, and fucked up, and hated himself for it but really wanted to do the right thing, but just never was able to do so because of the fuck ups. Nick seems to be goin the same way and, beyond all reasonable assumptions, I want him to do what Ben couldn't do.

Its really interestin lookin at how my Clem makes her decisions. In season 1, my Lee almost always trusted people and always did the right thing, regardless of how bad off the right thing put the situation at. In season 2, my Clem is kind of the same way, but she refuses to blindly trust people because her blind trust is what took Lee away from her. She just believed some random guy sayin he'd bring her to her parents and because of that Lee died and she blames herself for it. Its why I know that Lee would have wanted Clem to just give Bonnie supplies, but Clem remembers the last time she made that kind of mistake and refuses to do it again.

Bad points for this episode?
I didnt think to list some bad points, well really only 1 I had which amusingly enough was a gameplay part.

The entire part where you're gettin overrun by zombies after the wind turbine part pissed me the hell off because it took me forever to realize you're not able to kill all the zombies and you're supposed to run out of bullets and you're supposed to keep shootin when you're out to trigger the scene. I spent a good 15 minutes startin and restartin, messin with my aim, waitin longer and longer for the zombies to get close before I shot and watchin poor poor Clem die over and over before I realized that its not possible to beat that part.

Logically you can. You have enough bullets and if Clem is a good enough shot she should be able to take all of them down, except she isn't and you can't. You always miss 2 (3?) shots and never have enough bullets after that. It didn't help that I had to actually shoot the empty gun a few times before the scene triggered which made me think I was just missin somethin.

Took the blame. Sarah's my protege now.

Sat with Kenny. Wasn't always friendly with him in the first season, but it's been a while. And I was(am) still baffled how he survived.

Told the truth to Walter, and saved Nick.

Surrendered once the knife was on Carlos.

Bad points for this episode?-
I enjoyed it, but agree for the most part. More time to explore and converse would really be appreciated. And Rebecca's personality was a bit of a 180 after some of the threats she gives last episode.

I felt that scene was a bit weird too. When I was shooting them and missing, I tried to apply logic in the situation and say, "OK. Clem's good, but they might be too far away for her, so I have to let them get a bit closer". Made sense since in Season 1, you were always getting headshots when using the gun as Lee, but Clementine is still a kid. But even as they got closer, I would still miss. Made even worse when it seemed like their head would recoil as if I DID hit them, but they just shrugged it off. I kept saying, "C'mon Clem!". I didn't die, but still.

Thinking about it now though...when has Clem ever really used her gun? In episode 4 no matter what she manages to get a headshot on a Zombie, and maybe in episode 5 depending on how you dealt with the Stranger. It's strange, like you I always thought Clem was a good shot, but outside of two instances, when has this been really like...established? Plus, God knows how much crap Christa gave Clem for her mess up with her gun in the beginning of episode 1. I mean, it didn't seem like either Clem or Christa had any weapons once the time skip happens. Maybe Clem is slightly out of practice?

...Or it's just meant to happen as you said, and that's probably the correct answer. Lol, fun to think about though.
