I saw my three year old cousin watching that a while ago and thought it was hilariously terrifying. Song was pretty catchy, though...

That and Ichor Falls are of course classics.
As a sort of serious side note, I will say that I think the fact that a lot of childrens programming looks so creepy to adults shows a sign in the way perspective changes. Mr. Rogers for example was an amazingly popular children's entertainer, and well loved by (most) kids but to an adult, or those same kids grown up, they find him disturbing, thinking he seems like a pedophille, a seriel killer, or both. Barney, The Wiggles, Teletubbies, Noseybonk ( ), Baxter from "The Great Space Coaster", Lazytown, and others all illicit similar reactions from adults... though I admit those puppets do actually seem like something that should be scaring children by any measure of common sense.

As difficult as it is to believe, kids actually respond positively to this kind of stuff. Just ask my 4 year old brother. Kid shows have to be random and interesting to hold the average child's attention for more than a minute, and make them want to stay on the channel when the commercial comes up. So, honestly, this shows me that kid show producers are running out of ideas.

Seriously almost all the 'creepy ads' that you see on youtube and such are ads for kids toys or clips from children's TV shows.
Maybe it's meant to toughen kids up through psychological trauma.
