Ino looked back to Greed and wiggled her tails a little. "I was born with them, My mum said it meens Im destined for great things but I doubt it ". She looked back at the fight "Is fighting normal around here?"

Weizoth was struck by Carmen's strike, however, as her dagger made contact with his aura, it let out an immensely bright flash of light that would blind Carmen. The flash was directed at Carmen, so Ino, Greed and anyone else wouldn't be blinded as they continued to spectate. Weizoth's armor was incredibly heavy, so he was not knocked into the air as much as Carmen would likely think he would be.

Carmen gritted her teeth as she was blinded by Wei's aura. Wanting to get some distance, she retreated by flying back a good distance blindly. Even though she hadn't planned on Wei being as heavy as he was, she threw her dagger toward the ground and an orange magic circle opened under her. [color=bb0066] "3rd Circle:... Gluttony!" [/color] Over the dagger, a small well of gravity dragged Wei toward itself. It would do nothing other than keep him pinned where he was.
"Parrental pep talks, you can never take those seriously, lemme tell you that". Greed remarked in responce to Ino's first statement, then went back to looking to the battle, having just missed the flash going off. He shook his head in responce to her question. "It's a arena. What do you think?"
"Oh right, 'Arena'" She continued watching the fight, astounded by the amount of magic beign used.
"You planning on having a go some time, or do you plan on just sitting it out until whatever tournament's being held here is over and done with?" Greed asked Ino. His legs being getting somewhat stuff from being suspended for a time, and so placed them back on the ground, instead resting his arms on the railing.
Weizoth hit the ground with a hard-sounding thud. His aura began shining consistently more brightly as Carmen's gravity well activated. His aura worked to counter-act the well, reducing it to simply slowly dragging him along the ground towards it. While still lying on the ground, Weizoth opened his book once more. A small glowing mote of white energy appeared over his right shoulder, at which point he closed the book. The mote was barely brighter than a candle, and as such would be difficult to even see. The mote discharged a thin, shining beam of energy aimed at Carmen where she hovered. The beam would burn Carmen with divine energy if it struck her.
"I don't know. Unless theres someone whose considerably less murderous than those too I will probably try and stay out of it."
Hearing the loud thud Wei made once he landed, Carmen opened her useless eyes and winced at the light still burning her eyes. She managed to pick up on the sounds of the book being opened and mindlessly rolled to the side, luckily dodging the beam. She was noticably on edge as she extended her hand causing the gravity well to disperse and her dagger to fly toward her, which she caught on reaction. Only having sound to work on, she launched another blast of Violence straight toward him.

"Probably for the best that you do, if you're afraid of getting hurt." Greed remarked. Finishing his drink, he placed the empty glass in a chair besides him. "As for me, I only plan on fighting if there's something to gain from it. I don't do the senseless stuff. Wherther "something to gain" means a thing a opponent would put up for the winning, or if there's an actual prize at the end of all this, that doesn't matter."
Seeing Carmen's incoming spell, Weizoth refocused the mote on his shoulder. It shined bright enough to be easily distinguished, especially now that his aura had stopped glowing in response to Carmen's gravity well. Before the beam struck Weizoth, it veered off and turned away, crashing into the ground a decent distance away. He climbed back up on his feet and opened his book once again. He chose his next spell based on the fact that Carmen was flying up in the air out of his reach. Directly in front of Carmen he formed his spiritual weapon, the monotone-red short sword. The short sword swung right for Carmen's gut.

While not anywhere near as effective as draining a soul, the power of the blade was enough to help restore some of her eyesight, though she was still a bit sensitive to the light. The wound the sword made dripped black blood as she slashed the air with her dagger, sending another tornado toward Wei, this one much more focused on causing damage, threatening to make deeper cuts. Weizoth's shoulder mote continued to shine brightly. In doing so, it turned the path of Carmen's tornado away from Weizoth, sending it to tear up the scenery instead of him until it had run itself out. It doing so, the mote used up the remainder of its energy, simply fading out of existence. He took in a deep breath and spoke, "I can understand how you are ranked 2nd...this has been by no means easy thus far..." Using his free hand, he reached into some of the folds of his armor and produced a small black gemstone. The pages of his book began turning as he held the gem in his hand. Black energy flowed from his fingertips into the hand. Soon after, a howling Wraith burst forth from the gem, shattering it in the process.
The Wraith flew towards Carmen, banking to her right as it approached and then screaming towards her from her right, aiming to grab hold of her with the fabric that made up its extent of corporeality.

[color=bb0066] "A simple ghost? You underestimate me sir." [/color] Carmen casually grabbed the fabric of the Wraith before casting Greed again, absorbing the soul that animated it. She sighed as the fabric dropped to the ground harmlessly, her eyes now able to see clearly. [color=bb0066] "I owe it to you... to no longer hold back." [/color]

It wrapped its arms around Carmen and her entire being became wrapped in black as the spirit became one with her. The only thing unchanged was her vibrant red eyes, shining against the new skin of hers. Weizoth's book rapidly flipped its pages as he held out his free hand to meet the Violence spell. When it struck his hand, a scintillating, multicolored shield of light appeared. His aura began shining brighter as well as the evil spell came within closer proximity. The combination of magical defense allowed him to cancel Carmen's Violence before it did him any damage. Still holding his hand outstretched, he curled it into a fist, aside from his pointer finger, which he used to point at Carmen. His book's pages began turning once again, then a pale ray of light erupted from his fingertip. An eerie moaning sound filled the air as the ray streaked towards Carmen. If the ray were to strike her, it would rob her body of a considerable amount of heat.
Impressed, Greed blew a whistle that first slightly climbed, then quickly dropped in pitch. "Now this is interesting!" he exclaimed, standing up and leaning over the balcony of the spactator's stand. This whole thing started out boring, but, boy, did that change!
David decided enough was enough and head for the lounge to get a drink or two. as he walked in he saw Carmen and someone he don't know fighting out in the arena, grabbing a beer from the bar he went out to the spectator's stand "who's winning?" he asked greed
In response to the ray of light, Carmen simply raised a hand up, causing a wall of pure black energy to rise in front of her to block the beam. She scoffed before kicking the wall with a massive amount of force, sending a small cluster of black projectiles speeding toward Wei. If any hit, they'd liquefy into a black bubbling goo and splatter on Wei. He'd feel that the goo would begin sapping his magic and his strength bit by bit.
Weizoth stood his ground against Carmen's next attack. while several of the black projectiles struck him, they seemed to simply fizzle out against his aura. The pages on his book flipped themselves around once again while he used his free hand to make a set of prescribed motions while breathing in and muttering ancient words under his breath. With the final bit of his breath he spoke, "Devil Blight..." With him speaking those words, Carmen would begin to feel an excruciating amount of pain, as if some force completely anathema to her very being was slowly tearing her apart from the inside. After casting his spell, Weizoth moved himself closer to Carmen's position.
