"Really? now how in the day of harvest does that work? heck even the Doc can't do that!" Gumi replied, as the idea of re-spawning after death was one of the great discoveries she had heard of. "And you wanna fight little old me? well I don't think I'm in the best of shape to do a fight to the death, but if you allow guns I can go for a "who falls first" match?" she suggested to Carmen. "You can do that? well heck sure I'll give that a go, when I die for real of course....and why would I be an Angel?" Gumi tilted her head slightly.

Carmen smiled faintly as she motioned for Gumi to follow her to the Arena. [color=bb0066] "I'm not sure how the respawning works myself... but it works. I've been killed twice in this arena. And a 'who falls first' match? I'll accept those terms." [/color]

Noting Gumi's last few questions, Carmen flew backward so that she was facing the girl. [color=bb0066] "When you die? If we meet then I'll gladly do so for you. And you'd be an angel because... I don't sense any real negativity in your soul. That's one of the deciding factors to whether you become a demon or an angel." [/color]

"Well that's some fine tech to respawn once your dead" Gumi said as she followed Carmen. "Aw wells that's nice of ya to say, but to be honest you seem like you shouldn't of been a demon, seeing as your so kind" Gumi replies with a small smile.

[color=bb0066] "It seems that way, huh? Like I said negativity is what leads to one becoming a demon. In my past human life long long ago... it must have been filled with tragedy and hatred for me to become what I am today. It's like I've said, I'm an oddity." [/color] Carmen explained, looking into space for a moment before the two made it to the arena.

"I see, well you seem like your having a better life now so that's the main thing right?" Gumi said with a smile to Carmen, stepping out on the arena she swung her sniper rifle around.

Carmen smiled as she took a few paces away from Gumi before turning around to face the girl. [color=bb0066] "Yes. Life now is better than what it was... I suppose I shouldn't get caught up in the past." [/color] She calmly brandished her whip and crouched into a ready position as Gumi got her rifle out.

"Oh your using a whip? let me switch" Gumi spun her sniper back around and took out her combat knife. "That seems fairer, though I wouldn't do that everyday so count yourself lucky ok?" She spun it in her hand a little. "Ready when use are"

Carmen nodded toward Gumi before giving the girl a small bow before unfurling her whip and cracking it once. [color=bb0066] "Really? I actually don't use this whip much at all. I guess we're both going easy on each other." [/color] She settled back into her stance. [color=bb0066] "Ready...? Here I come!" [/color] She quickly flung her whip to lash at Gumi's offhand.

Gumi jump back a little, the whip leaving a small red mark on the back of her right hand. "That's literally cracker-lacking!" she said, then ran up to Carmen, making a jump and slapping the back of Carmen's head as the vaulted over her, rolling and standing back up on her feet quickly. dancing about in a bit of a boxing stance.

Carmen's head lurched forward a bit as Gumi slapped her in the back of it. She jokingly rubbed it and looked over toward Gumi bobbing in her stance. [color=bb0066] "Ow! You meanie!" [/color] The demoness said before running up to Gumi and launching a light jab toward the girl's stomach.

Gumi chuckled a little. "Aw, Sorry Gal!" she said, then threw her knife up into the air and caugh it in her teeth, when Carmen made her jab she put her arms up to block it though the punch would leave a small bruise on Gumi's arm. "Mmmphhmpph!" she said, though it wasn't very clear with the knife in her mouth. she made a couple of quick return jabs at Carmen, then went for a uppercut on her chin.

Carmen took her own stance, swaying a bit before she made the effort to sway out of the way of Gumi's jabs and brought up her arms to block her uppercut, allowing herself to be pushed back a bit. [color=bb0066] "You need to speak clearly, dear, otherwise I'll just assume it was an insult! Take this!" [/color] The succubus dashed in and swung a solid, but not too strong right cross toward Gumi's chest.

Gumi took her knife out of her mouth. "I said I-Agh!" she was interrupted by Carmen cross to her chest, falling to her knees. "Well, that's what I get for letting my guard down..." she said with a small smile. then run up to Carmen, she took fake swipe with her knife, before swinging a kick down low in a attempt to trip Carmen up.

Carmen swayed out of the way of Gumi's feint and did indeed get tripped up by her kick. The succubus hopped on one foot for a moment or two before regaining her balance with a relieved sigh. [color=bb0066] "Scary... Guess I shouldn't let my guard down either." [/color] She stepped in quickly to swing a punch toward her gut followed up by a right hook.

Gumi continued to go on the defensive, though she would feel every the impact of every punch. she quickly turned and grabbed Carmen's right hook. "I'd think you do great in all boxing tournament Carmen, your swinging and stinging like a wasp playing tennis!" she said, then went to throw Carmen over her shoulder.

Carmen couldn't help but giggle at Gumi's analogies, even as she was thrown. In mid-air, Carmen corrected herself using her wings and landed gently on her feet. [color=bb0066] "Thank you, Miss Gumi. You're pretty good at close quarters as well." [/color] She turned back to face the girl and shifted back into stance, waiting for her next move.

"Well shucks, thank ya kindly" Gumi replied as she held her knife to herside. "Wanna call it quits? or are you still good to go?"

[color=bb0066] "I can keep going, Miss Gumi. Until one of us hits the ground." [/color] Carmen replied as she approached Gumi slowly and casually.

"Righty-o then!" Gumi replied spinning her knife i her palm, then went to tackle Carmen using her left shoulder.

Carmen swayed out of the way of Gumi's charge and went for another low kick as the girl passed by. [color=bb0066] "Careful now~" [/color]
