A loud slam! shook the land as a gilded sarcophagus hit terra firma. Rippling rainbow patterns decorated the device, flashing stripes and solids across its surface. The patterns led up to a stern, red-eyed, glaring mugshot of things to come.
The front of the sarcophagus slid forward, green smoke escaping from the sides as it rotated to the side, exposing a bright light. The light faltered for a moment as it was blocked by the monstrosity now standing in front of it. The remotely-humanoid beast rose up to its full height of thirteen feet, four inches, curling and uncurling its clawed fingers. In its left hand was a golden staff topped with a blue planetoid roughly the size of a watermelon. The sarcophagus behind it flashed for a moment, and in a split second transfigured into a similarly patterned overcoat, which the beast slipped into. The beast cracked its neck, its eyes - two pool balls switching rapidly between the colors of each ball - focusing on the strangers around it.
It opened its maw and spoke in a loud, gravelly drawl.
"THIS ISN'T SKAIA."
Lord English was here, and he was confused.
