<color=blue>"Well, I've been pretty adept at it for quite a while. These past few years for me really pushed the limit for my sisters and I. Although it wasn't always like that. Ever since I was 15 I've been learning new things about electricity and magnetism from the courses I took and the books I've read. And in turn, I've learned how to do various things with my powers in addition to handling larger amounts of electric charge. You see... most of my powers come from knowledge. Although it can be said I was a scientist ever since I was seven."

The girl saw she had been noticed. She came out from behind the doorway slowly, seeming almost shy. She looked around, the top half of her face hidden under a visor but the singular red eye of the visor slowly scanning the room, moving along the eyepeice.

EMily turned her head in response to the magnetic field produced by Lambda's circuitry.

"Sober? Where's the fun in that?" James laughed. "That sounds good, but I'm afraid cards aren't part of our standard kit. I don't have any."

"I'm more thinking along the lines of not causing my little mechanical eyes exploding. You've gotten to the point where you can avoid that quite well right?" Gold asked, not really paying attention to Lambda's arrival.

The girl spoke in monotone. "Scanning... multiple subjects. Species: Human, modified human, feline beastkin, unknown homonoid. Threat level: undetermined."

 

[Random berk]

Glancing at Lambda again, Drayven noted with some surprise that her feet didn't touch the floor. Glancing at his book again, he considered the implication of this, and wondered at the source of the ability.

Hearing James for a moment, the fedora girl pulled out a PDA and pressed a few buttons eventually causing it to beam out a cone of blue light. A small standard deck of cards in a case emerged from the cone and the girl silently tossed it toward James and Gwen.

Turning back to Lambda, the woman raised an eyebrow, her curiosity eventually overcoming her shyness at the moment. "Interesting... I wonder what kind of AI this droid has built with... or is she a cyborg...?"

 

[Random berk]

James caught the deck of cards on the fly and lookedat the girl.

Whoa. Nice trick. Thanks."

Gumi was drinking a fizzy drink from a glass, sitting on a bar stool. Wew, that Rex fought harder then grampa when we tried to put him in the home she took the daisy flower out of her bag and tucked it underneth her goggles.

Lambda turned her head to Ness. "Organic base body. Extensive genetic and cybernetic modification."

<color=blue>"Huh...." EMily turned back, and gave a small smile.
<color=blue>"I could tell there was something metal inside the skull. Metal's a conductor, so it'll interact differently with the ambient electromagnetic field than non-conductors. For instance, they absorb EM radiation, depending on the frequency. And the electric field inside a conductor is zero. In any case, my control over my inherent force has to deal with knowledge, not power."

<color=purple>"Yes, thank you." She turned back to James. <color=purple>"Wanna play right now?"

"Sure. Lets give it a shot."

The girl gave James and Gwen a small nod before turning back to Lambda and nodding slightly. "I see... Can you tell me how long you've been like this... presuming you weren't always extensively modified?"

The girl put a hand to her chin as she observed Lambda, getting up off the couch.

Gwen waved back to the girl and smiled accordingly. She shuffled the deck and then spoke.

<color=purple>"Well, we don't have enough to play pitch, since it's partner based. But have you ever heard of Casino?"

Gold digested EMily's explanation for a bit, and nodded. "Fair enough then. Sound's like you've got some interesting tricks. Might be a bit over my head, however. so just a warnin' if you feel like gushing about flux capacitators."

The girl didn't seem to notice any of the social guestures or speech. She replied to Ness flatly. "Cybernetics implemented shortly after this body was created, upgraded and expanded multiple times."

"Not a clue. I can try and pick it up though."

EMily responded with a straight answer, and almost instinctive, with the reference to the movie flying over her head.
<color=blue>"Pardon me? A flux capacitor? A capacitor that holds energy from the flux of electric or magnetic fields? Isn't that just a regular capacitor or an inductor in circuitry?"

OOC: @Random. No I'm not. I've never used it at all. I've tried to use it before, but I could never get around to get it connected to places. Phone calls are good enough communication for me.
