Seeing Remilia charge, Kenna dodged back and dodged the slice, then retaliated with a stone-cracking punch to the jaw with her unharmed hand.
Remilia moved back and brought up her blade so that, hopefully, Kenna's fist would connect with the sharp edge.
Kenna twisted to the side, dodging the blade. She stopped, grabbed onto Remillia's sword-arm with a grip that could break bones, then pulled Remilia towards her and kneed her in the gut.
Remilia cried out in pain when Kenna grabbed her arm. When Kenna pulled Remilia forward, she raised her own hand to grab Kenna's face.
Kenna's eyes were clearly visible now. They were icy blue, with tiny pupils. As Remillia reached out to grab her face, Kenna opened her mouth and bit down on Remilla's hand, kneeing her again.
Remilia gritted her teeth, and responded to Kenna biting and kneeing her with a headbutt. At the same time, Remilia began stomping on Kenna's foot with her boots.
Kenna opened her mouth to gasp in pain, freeing Remillia's hand but leaving bloody bitemarks. Though the headbutt and the stomping made her recoil and wince, she did not let go, kicking Remillia in the shin to try and make her loose balance.
When Kenna released Remilia's hand, she decided to forgo grabbing Kenna's face and simply tried to plunge her thumb into Kenna's eye while she was still reeling. The kick to her shin would have knocked Remilia over, however Kenna's grip on Remilia's sword arm kept her upright.
Kenna moved her head, dodging Remillia's thumb by a small margin. Noticing that Remillia had lost balance, Kenna took Remillia to the ground and pinned her, pressing her weight onto Remillia's body.
Remillia did manage to cut Kenna's arm, but due to the extreme close range, it wasn't much. Kenna pressed into Remillia's ribs with all her weight, then used her working arm to punch her right between the eyes so hard that it'd probably crack the pavement.
Kenna stayed still for a second, then fell back, eyes returning to normal and a look of horror on her face. Eventually the arena and Remillia's body vanished into light, and Kenna was fully healed. Still slightly shaken, she stood and exited the arena.
