The Meta sat in the locker room, preparing for battle.

Carmen noted the Meta prepping and waved to Tanner. [color=bb0066] "I'll show you just how good being flashy can be." [/color] She took her dagger and whip out of her locker before giving a sideways glance toward the Meta.

 

[Kirke]

The AI, EIA, contacted Carmen through the speaker system.
"Hello miss Luna. You are the second highest ranked person the pool now, do you wish to fight the one above you in the rankings?"

Carmen smirked to herself before replying. [color=bb0066] "Yes. Let's hope that they don't bore me." [/color]

 

[Kirke]

The Meta stood up and faced the arena entrance.

"Exellent! Please enter the arena."

The arena doors opened and the Meta walked in.

Carmen entered in after the Meta.

"...Sure." Tanner said as he left to go to his room.

Jensen woke up in the murk of his bedroom and sat up, rubbing his forehead with a grimace as he did so. Reaching for a cigarette his hand found only air and he frowned, glancing at the bedside table. It wasn't there. Glancing around he realised that he wasn't in his Detroit apartment at all. It looked more like the sparsely decorated bunkrooms of the old police barracks. Getting to his feet he quickly dressed and threw on his trenchcoat before heading for the battered door, unconsciously checking that his handgun was in his shoulder holster.

The Meta took up postion and weilded his brute-shot, glaring at Carmen.

Carmen returned Meta's glare with a rather bored and blank stare. She idly spun her dagger around her finger. [color=bb0066] "May I have your name before we fight?" [/color]

Jensen poked his head out the door and peered around. The narrow hallway didn't give him much information on where he was, but it looked like a dormitory housing a reasonably large number of people. Stepping out, he decided to go and look for someone who might explain his situation.
