Eddie blow struck soundly against Jerrog's armored side, causing the Bangaa to grunt as she slid across the ground, barely managing to maintain his footing. Regaining his footing, Jerrog flourished his lance with a spin before attacking again, holding the weapon with both hands as he stepped back towards Eddie and swung it towards him in an upward arc, aiming to strike his chest.

Lapis and Luistorg were both largely not paying any attention to what was going on in the lounge, having their attention focused more on watching the fight their comrade was currently in, since nothing else worthwhile tried to vie for their attention.

[color=80bb00] Yep... A total loony... But a loony I can get behind... [/color] Pix thought to herself as Solaris had her little wet dream right in front of her. [color=80bb00] "I see... What do you end up using most of the time? A knife or something to that effect?" [/color]

In the time that Jarrog stumbled backwards, Eddie had risen back to his full height and turned to face Jerrog again. He was about to move in on Jerrog for a fellow-up attack, but skidded to halt when Jerrog spun the lance around. Taking a step back, he also took hold of his weapon with both hands, and when Jerrog thrusted the lance towards him, Eddie stepped to the side while holding the axe head to the side of him, and with it, caught the lance between the axe head and the handle.

After this, Eddie used his considderable strength to forcefully move the axe upwards in an attempt to throw Jerrog off-balance. If successful, Eddie would kick towards Jerrog's midsection, if not, Eddie would try to flip the axe around, and try to bash against the shoulder of Jerrog's leading arm.

"Whatever bladed object happens to be the most convenient for me to use at the time." Solaris responded with a smile, picking up her glass again, and taking another sip, before looking back down to Pix, and holding out the glass towards her.

Though Eddie was a large man with considerable strength, Jerrog was larger still and resisted all of Eddie's attempts to try and move with axe while it was hooked together with Jerrog's lance, managing to hold the two in place through his own efforts. Jerrog took a page from Eddie's methods, and jerked his lance off to the opposite side that Eddie had dodged towards, intending to throw him off balance as he swung one of his powerful legs towards Eddie's side.

Unable to dislodge his axe and get distance between Jerrog and himself, Jerrog was successful in throwing Eddie off balance, nearly jerking the axe from Eddie's hands, and coming close to knocking him over. As he wasn't in any position to evade Jerrog's kick, Jerrog was successful in kicking Eddie in the side, knocking him off his feet with a grunt.

[color=80bb00] "Alright... Maybe we can arrange for you to use me like a blade then... but only when it's actually appropriate... The circle we draw on my necklace form could be used for both forms, correct?" [/color] Pix asked casually as she took another sip using her 'straw'. The cloud of alcohol in her expanded a bit and seemed to shrink slowly as she chuckled a bit.

[color=80bb00] "I'll admit I'm a lot like you, Solaris." [/color] The goo girl said, resting her elbows on the table and holding her head up with both of her hands. [color=80bb00] "It's always fun to watch people squirm and bleed when they come after me... but the best is when I can suffocate them... Watching their expression as they try to escape is just... perfect." [/color] She let out a small sigh, but her entire body vibrated enough to make an audible buzzing noise in the air.

"Correct. We'll only have to make it look like a universal transmutation circle, and we'll practically have an explaination to go with all our needs in that regard. Using yourself as the blade would be somewhat impractical, however, given we can simple make a weapon of our own. Plus... I sometimes like to lick the blood off a blade, which would just be awkward if the blade was you." Solaris responded with a nod, bringing the glass back to her own mouth after Pix syphoned some of the liquor from the glass.

As Pix sat relaxed on the table and looked to Solaris, Solaris tilted her head slightly and returned the gaze. "I figured asphyxiation was something you like to use. Although, I must say, I thought you'd prefer bending a body in ways it's not meant to before the killing." She responded, chuckling lightly at both the thoughts running through her mind, and the noise produced by Pix.

With Eddie on the ground, Jerrog moved in on him with his lance raised. As he did, however, Eddie hooked Jerrog's left ankle between the axe head and the handle, and pulled it towards himself, tripping Jerrog up. As he fell, Eddie rose up, and placed the blade of the axe near Jerrog's throat. In that position, Jerrog chuckled dryly, and admitted defeated. The two congratulated one another on the skilled fighting as the arena reverted back to its default state, then returned to the lounge.

[color=80bb00] "Sure, bending their limbs would be fun, but that kind of hampers them trying to flail around. That's one of the best parts of choking someone out in general. The only time I'll do that is when they might actually break free. Watching the determination drain from their face is fun too~" [/color] Pix answered, chuckling a little more. The vibrating intensified a small bit, the noise getting a bit louder. [color=80bb00] "That may be awkward for you, but I don't mind being licked, so long as I get to drink a little bit of the blood. It tastes a lot better than what I usually end up drinking." [/color]

"Oh, I can agree there. As I said, those moments when the life is leaving the eyes, that's when the magic happens. When the realisation that all is lost dawns, that's the first phase in that." Solaris responded with a smile after taking another small sip from her glass. Upon hearing Pix's second remarked, Solaris laughed softly. "My, my. How lewd~. Still, licking you is not something I'll be very eager to do, but you'll be welcome to the blood sticking to whatever weapon I'll end up using." She responded, then leaned back in her seat, holding out the glass towards Pix. "I must say, I've come to like you. It's a shame we'll be parting ways after this..."

Pix chuckled a bit as she took another sip from the glass. [color=80bb00] "How kind of you. And I can understand that sort of feeling. I've heard the taste of goo isn't.... desirable." [/color] Afterward, she shrugged a bit. [color=80bb00] "All good things have to come to an end sometime, don't they?" [/color] She said, her vibrating slowing down now. She then looked to Solaris and chuckled again. [color=80bb00] "Actually... not necessarily... I don't really have much to go back to in my home world. I wouldn't be opposed to going to a completely new one. If you'd like to have me tag along, that is." [/color]

"Whatever you may taste like wasn't in my mind when I declined. You're the wrong gender for me to want to do such a thing. Having you cling to my body is about as far as I'm willing to take things." Solaris responded with something of a wry smile, moving a finger along her eyebrow with her free hand.

"Well now, if you're sure you're willing to leave everything behind, I won't object to it. I'm not usually one for bringing people home, but I can make an exception in this case." She responded to Pix's second statement, bringing the glass back to her own mouth, and drinking the remainder of the liquor, then setting the glass down.

[color=80bb00] "Ah, I see." [/color] Pix said, sitting up straight. [color=80bb00] "Sorry, used to things like that happening back home. Oddly enough, our race is only female." [/color]

She gave Solaris a nod. [color=80bb00] "Glad to hear it. Just getting shoved into this place was kind of a godsend. I get to fight and I'm not gonna end up dying, And I can kill as many people as I want to boot? This would be heaven if I knew I wasn't being chained by some upper management." [/color] She sighed a bit as she looked around the room idly.

"Oh?" Solaris began, tilting her head slightly as she looked to Pix. "Seeing a man for the first time must've been been odd." She commented, moving her hand away from her eyebrow, resting it on her knee. "And yes, this place would be nice to have accessible as for recreation, given it seems to draw violent and unstable people like moths to a flame. But being held captive... This doesn't agree with me. I do have things to do. Plus, I'm not too fond of fighting, per se. Not that I inherently dislike it, I just prefer discreet murder, and having everyone here, plus who knows how many more people watching is anything but discreet."

[color=80bb00] "Yeah... completely..." [/color] Pix said with a small sigh. [color=80bb00] "Seeing a human male for the first time was weird. I was mesmerized for a bit, then I learned about how humans were... and that feeling of 'newness' got old really quick." [/color]

[color=80bb00] "Ah... More of an assassin then." [/color] She said, crossing her arms on the table and plopping her head onto it. [color=80bb00] "Having to put on shows for people can be fun... when you actually want to put on a show. ...We should give the higher-ups a little parting gift if we manage to get out of here." [/color]

"I can imagine, on both accounts. When I first saw you, I was rather taken aback as well. And I don't paticularly enjoy being around other people, either." Solaris responded, nodding slightly.

"Hmm. Yes, I think that's an apt discription of what I like to do. Minus the getting paid for it. I wouldn't very much like to put on a show, however. Not my style. But a parting gift... No... I'd rather not work myself to deeply in the bad books of these people. The moment I leave here, I no longer care what goes on." She continued, speaking casually. Tapping on the table somewhat loudly, Solaris leaned forward towards Pix, and whispered again. [sub]"In other words... It's best not to discuss these things out loud. But I have no intention of leaving without indeed giving a "parting gift"."[/sub]

Pix chuckled a bit in response to the first part of what Solaris had said. [color=80bb00] "Yeah, but your first instinct wasn't to try and set me on fire, so you're good in my book." [/color] She tilted her head a bit. [color=80bb00] "Just... other people in general or just humans?" [/color]

[color=80bb00] "Fine, fine... We'll leave the bastards be once we get out of here." [/color] The goo-girl said in response as she listened to what the woman whispered to her. She gave her a nod, showing she understood. [color=80bb00] [small] "...Anything you had in mind?" [/small] [/color]

[sub]"A little alchemical nightmare... When we're done, they'll wish they'd never brought us here."[/sub] Solaris responded, a small smile on her face. Stopping tapping on the table, she leaned back again. "As for your question, well, with but few exceptions, there are no non-human people on my world. And even with the exceptions, a human was taken to create them. So... I would say just humans." She began, then paused, looking towards the door with something is a scowl on her face, before looking back to Pix. "However, ever since coming here, I found that my dislike applies to other species, too. Appearantly, "human" stupidity doesn't have to be necessarily restricted to just humans..."

The goo girl smiled and nodded before Solaris ended her table tapping.

[color=80bb00] "...What do you mean a human was taken to create them?" [/color] Pix asked curiously, raising an eyebrow as Solaris leaned back. [color=80bb00] "And yeah... just because something isn't human doesn't mean they can't act like one... A few others in my race were like that... Luckily for the gene pool, they didn't last long." [/color]

"Quite... Intelligence and sense of logic are respectable... but unfortunately, rare traits." Solraris responded, blowing a small sigh, before smiling slightly again. "When I mention creating a chimera by fusing creatures, this doesn't just apply to beasts. A human might be fused with a beast just as well. The alchemist reknowned for this type of alchemy earned his state certification for this, although... For a time, it was believed he simply created a chimera that could talk. I've never heard of any other cases where this happened, however. As it would fall under human transmutation, an act that's strictly forbidden."

[color=80bb00] "I remember reading a comic once where the hero stated common sense was rare enough to be a superpower..." [/color] Pix said, looking up toward the ceiling as she recalled what she'd seen. [color=80bb00] "Hopefully, there's a world out there where that's not true... but until then we're stuck here..." [/color] The goo-girl tilted her head a bit, raising an eyebrow. [color=80bb00] "Why would they try to ban transmutations on humans? I could see tons of uses for that, prosthetic limbs and farming scientific guinea pigs being two glaring examples." [/color]
