[color=915f6d]"Hi!"[/color] Selim said cheerily as Rex crouched downand extended his hand. Now closer up, Selim spent a moment looking it over thoroughly, before finally shaking it with both hands. [color=915f6d]"Where did you get this cool automail, Mister Rex? And what's that eye piece you got there? I've never seen anything like it!"[/color]

"The army gave it to me. Just like this eye piece." Rex said to Selim, hoping the announcer wouldn't in again.

[color=915f6d]"The military? Are you a soldier? Do you get to join in like, these cool marches? Do other soldier have glow-y bits on their automail, too?"[/color] Selim asked, speaking rather quickly. [color=915f6d]"And what does that eyepiece do? Does it let you see in the dark?"[/color]

Rex explained they he was a soldier, he did march (sometimes), some other soldiers had glowy bits, and he explained how his eye piece let him see his hud, and what a hud was.

After Ragnar left the Arena, Kenna exited as ell, heading into the lounge and taking a seat.

 

[Random berk]

Ragnar headed for his room but soon returned, Kraken's Tooth in its leather sheath and his thunderwolf pelt wrapped loosely around his shoulders.
"Feeling better?" He asked Kenna as he entered.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Yeah, I'm fine." Kenna said as Ragnar came in, waving at him.

 

[Random berk]

"Good to hear it. I tried not to injure you too badly in there. Not used to sparring with anyone as fragile as a human, even if they are as strong as a Space Marine."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Well, I'm not that fragile. I can take a bit more punishment that a normal person." Kenna said.

 

[Random berk]

Ragnar chuckled.
"Oh, I don't doubt that. If you couldn't, any one of the blows I landed would have broken bones. You put up a real damned fight, little wolf."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Thanks. And... little wolf? What?"

 

[Random berk]

"You are human and wolf at the same time." Ragnar replied with a shrug. "You are not a child of Russ, but you have our strength, our ferocity, and our curse- well, basically. Little wolf seems an appropriate title, don't you think?"

 

[Chungus]

Selim listen to Rex's explaination to Selim's various questions, and continued to bombard Rex with various questions regarding how all his equipment worked without actually pausing to alow Rex to actually explain anything. It was only when Kenna entered the lounge Selim slowed down with his question barrage to look at her. When Ragnar walked in, however, Selim stopped talking, and looked up to Ragnar with a scared expression on his face. [color=915f6d]"[sub]M-monster...[/sub]"[/color] He muttered under his breath, backing off.

To Kenna and Ragnar, Selim himself would would be viewed with an air of apprehension, at best, as he had the same sort of inhuman pressense Solaris had. Where the pressense Solaris emitted was unsettling, however, Selim's was downright disturbing.

"I guess..." Kenna said. She looked over to Selim as she heard him mumble something. "You ok kid?"

 

[Random berk]

"Hmm..." Ragnar mumbled, suspecting that Kenna was not pleased with the title. He felt a prickling down the back of his neck as he did so and turned to face Selim.
A child? ...Or something more?

 

[Chungus]

Selim didn't give a verbal response to Kenna, although the question would be answered by simply looking at Selim. His eyes were fearful, he was biting his lip slightly, and his legs were shaking, he was clearly scared. Once Ragnar looked down to Selim, selim whimpered slightly, and back away more quickly, before crouching down behind the bar counter, and hiding under it.

"Hey there." Rex said as he gave a sharp look to Ragnar. He wasn't sure if the hulk would kill a child, but he wasn't going to take any chances.

"Take it easy kid." he said to Selim as he followed him and patted his shoulder.

OOC: Don't tell me the kids actually a homuncu...a monster.

Kenna was about to get up and go to the kid, but Rex got their first. Kenna said seated, looking worried.

 

[Random berk]

"What did I do?" Ragnar demanded, aggrieved.

As Rex approached and patted him on the shoulder, Selim looked up to him, and whimpered slightly. [color=915f6d][sub]"H-he's scary... I want to go home..."[/sub][/color] He said with a hushed tone. Naturally, he didn'answer Ragnar.
