Ragnar chuckled awkwardly with Kenna, suspecting that he was missing some crucial part of the joke.
"Well... maybe so. I suppose if she is innocent, then she should have nothing to hide. And this is not as dishonourable as what she suggested before, when I spoke to her."

"You've talked to her before?" Kenna asked. "She say anything that might clue us in?"

[color=915f6d]"Hmm. I guess so!"[/color] Selim responded after some thought. [color=915f6d]"Silly radio man."[/color] After chuckling lightly, Selim walked back to the door, and reached for the doorknob to open it, and would do so unless stopped.

"Not a thing. In fact, she seems as agreeable to talk to as you are, and her righteous hatred of daemonkind appears obvious, even if she does not worship the Emperor as humans should. Well... you know. She seems normal... except for that smell. It is not much to go on, but a Space Wolf's senses are never wrong."

"Where are you planning on going?" Rex asked as he rose from leaning on the wall.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"She is definitely hiding something." Kenna said. "And I got a hunch that whatever it is, it's big."

 

[Random berk]

"Hmm... alright then. I will do it."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Alright. We'll wait until we know she's out of her room and busy, then we'll take a look."

[color=915f6d]"Look around for a bit."[/color] Selim answered, opening the door, but staying inside the room, looking up to Rex. [color=915f6d]"I promise I'll be good."[/color]

Pix let out a small sigh in response. [color=80bb00] "Who knows...? From what I've traced back about our origins, our ancestors were way more involved with replicating and keeping alive more than anything else, even over things like communication and cooperation." [/color] As Solaris continued to draw, the slime girl wobbled a small bit then returned to normal. [color=80bb00] "People can be ignorant, yes, but I doubt other beings like us will come about anyway. ...Still, maybe another name's worth a shot...?" [/color] Letting out yet another sigh, Pix looked to the mirror once more. [color=80bb00] "Jeez... I look like some anime geek's sketch page now...." [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"And it has remained like this up until now? I find that rather odd, I must say. As for another name... Sticking with scientific-sounding names, how about Homo Effingitur? It also means 'malleable person'."
As Pix lamented being drawn, Solaris chuckled lightly, putting the finishing touches to the circle she was working on. "Well, we're done now." She remarked, looking the various circles over in the mirror. "And if it's any consolation, these will make things simpler for us."

With that said, Solaris looked around the room for a moment. "Well, let's try your attacking and transmuting on cue."

"Trouble might find you." Rex said to Selim as a warning.

[color=80bb00] "Alright, alright~ So how we gonna do this? Just practicing on more of your stuff?" [/color] Pix said, small vibrations beginning to start up on her drawn-on form now. In regards to the name, Pix's face tilted a bit before slowly nodding. [color=80bb00] "Alright... I think that'll work for now... It'd have to run it by people though..." Which involved going back.... Ugggh... [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"I thought you didn't want to go back to your own world?" Solaris questioned in response to Pix's second statement, before nodding in response to the first. "That's right. But with the difference from last time being that it's one: On cue, and two: From a distance." She began, then turned towards the doors of the wardrobe. "So... when I extend my arm and touch the circle, you shoot out a strand, and transmute whatever it is I'm pointing at. Ready?"

[color=915f6d]"Oh. Right..."[/color] Selim responded, blowing a small sigh, and letting his shoulders hang. Glancing down to the floor, he kicked at nothing, before looking back up to Rex. [color=915f6d]"Well... Can we go to my fake room, then? This room is boring."[/color] He asked, then as an afterthought, added, [color=915f6d]"I say fake room, because my real room hasn't got two doors or a funny machine thingie in it."[/color]

"...Maybe we can find a better room." Rex said as he exited the room and waited for Selim to do the same. If Selim chose a room for himself, he would find it furnished exactly how he would want.

[color=80bb00] "Yeah... I don't want to go back... Guess that was just my mind defaulting to thinking about approvals and such..." [/color] Pix said with a slightly annoyed sigh following it up. [color=80bb00] "Either way, it'll be important later, if people start questioning me about... me later." [/color]

The slime girl gave Solaris a resolute nod and looked forward. [color=80bb00] "Alright, I'll follow your lead." [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"Well, if you need a reminder on what the name is, I'm not going anywhere any time soon." Solaris commented, chuckling lightly near the end. After her face returned to have a neutral expression, she looked towards the doorknob on the wardrobe for a a few seconds, before extending her right arm towards it, and touching the small transmutation circle thereon.

Selim followed Rex out of the room, and closed the door behind him, before leading Rex back to Selim's suite, walking towards it in something of a upbeat manner. Reaching the suite, Selim opened the door and entered, then looked up to Rex, waiting for him to enter too.

The room was fairly spacious and expensive-looking, with the style and set up of the decor coming from 1914. Being the room of a young child, the colour scheme was rather bright, consisting mainly of blues, white greens and some browns. There were various drawings hanging on the walls, and while not paticularly good, it was evident Selim had put a lot of effort into them.

"Welcome to the Arena, we hope you will enjoy your stay, and feel free to visit our giftshop for more information about multidimensional abductions and shenanigans of the utmost non-canon variety."

Finding herself mysteriously within the confines of a near dark room, the only light coming from the faint yellow glow of her own body. A deep pain in her chest rang out, one at which she thought she'd never need to feel again. She fell to one knee for a moment, the adjustment too great after such a sudden shock.

Slowly as air retook her lungs as they had once had, her composure slowly came back to her, using her spear to steady herself as dampened muscle memory slowly came back to her.

As the doors finally opened, she blocked her eyes for a moment, the sheer contrast from the near darkness stinging.
