Ness was about to speak to Kenna again, before hearing her mention not killing the person in question. She smiled a bit to herself and kept silent. [color=666666] "Well then, I've got nothing to worry about. I'll hope things go well for you.... once you managed to get out of here." [/color] Her smile faded a small bit as she continued speaking however. [color=666666] Well... there goes that... And this probably isn't my place to butt in anyway... [/color]

Looking to Pat, she tilted her head. [color=666666] "Pseudoscience? What do you mean by that?" [/color]

Kenna nodded at Ness. "Thanks."

"Better, I suppose. I wish you luck then." Pat said to Kenna.

"Well, alchemy doesn't do what it's suppose to do, convert materials into other materials and such."

Ness tilted her head again before shaking her head lightly. [color=666666] "Maybe that you've seen but it's completely possible. I'm not skilled enough myself, but some can actually take materials and convert them into other ones. Alchemist's gold was and still is a problem where I'm from." [/color]

She gave Kenna a quick nod before turning toward her more. [color=666666] "Then I'm guessing you've got some sort of weaponry for this... person, right?" [/color]

"Really? You can do alchemy?" Pat said a little incredulously.

Kenna gave Pat a thumbs-up, then sat back, looking at Ness and holding up her fists. "Do these count?"

"A classic, perhaps, but something more practical might be more advisable." Pat said to Kenna as his cane transformed into a hatchet which he tapped on the bar.

"I see... I'm sorry to hear it." Solaris responded after a moment of thinking, sounding slightly appolagettic, even if her thoughts didn't reflect her thoughts, believing anyone who alowed themselves to grow to such absurd sizes deserved to be killed for such stupidity. "And the only way for a Homo Effingitur to lose mass is to have it severed or otherwise destroyed, yes? There is no other way of seperating it?"

Already having leapt at Nanami, the second chimera wasn't in a position to evade the spearhead, and was impaled on it. It roared loudly in pain as the spearhead tore through its abdomen, piercing the liver. As it hung on Nanami's spear, it clawed wildly at her while screaching in pain, unable to pull itself of the spear with how Nanami currently held the spear.

As the second chimera thrashed about, the first swung a claw towards the faceplate of her helmet. Should it connect, the swipe carried enough force to knock Nanami off her feet. And should this happen, the third chimera would attempt to pounce on her, and bite down on her neck. If it didn't knock her down, it would attempt to bite down on her right arm.

Seemingly horrified by the pained roars and screeches, Selim covered his ears.

Kenna looked at Pat. "Hmm... good point." She then shifted her hands into claws. "Much better." She rubbed her transformed hands together gleefully.

Ness blinked a bit at Kenna before nodding a bit. [color=666666] "Well.... so long as you're not actually trying to kill hi--" [/color]She cut herself off as she looked with increasing curiosity at Kenna' hands. [color=666666] "....Well, that's... new..." [/color]

Looking back to Pat, she nodded and pulled out a small sharpie and drew a small transmutation circle on the stool she was sitting on and focused her energy into it. After a moment or two, the stool popped and became a small star shaped structure with the stool cushion acting as a base. [color=666666] "Yes... I can." [/color]

Pat didn't look particularly amused with Kenna's new clawed hands. In fact, he might look slightly more aggressive as he tapped his axe slightly harder on the bar.

"Well...As long as you don't insist on calling it science. But that is very interesting." Pat said, though he was still distracted by Kenna.

Kenna stopped rubbing her hands together as she noticed Pat's glare, then laid back and shifted her arms back to normal. She looked at Ness. "Oh... with the fights being broadcast in here, I thought everyone knew..."

Nanami seeing the other chimera heading for her, getting pawed at from the one still speared by her, she leaned as she brought the chimera in front of her, twisting the blade to get her more leverage to force the chimera to go where she wanted. This would force the first chimera to take slightly longer, giving Nanami the chance for some slightly better footing.

She wouldn't be able to block, but what would have knocked her flying only managed to graze the helmet, knocking it clear off her head. With the third, she brought her spear around with both hands, having to compensate with her right arm more.

Ness scratched the back of her head. [color=666666] "I... really don't like watching people dying.... even if it's temporary, so this is new to me... Are you part... wolf or something to that end?" [/color] She said, her interest growing considerably.

She tilted her head again. [color=666666] ...How is this no--? [/color]
[color=ff4599] Don't, kid. This is some hard-head priest. Arguing is just going to piss the both of you off. [/color]

[color=80bb00] "The only way for Homo Effingturs to decrease in size is to replicate, thus splitting themselves into two. [/color] Pix said, resisting the urge to turn herself into a whiteboard and explain that way. [color=80bb00] "Massive ones can replicate even further at once." [/color]

"You disagree?" Pat said to Ness, seeing clearly that she had objections.

"Right. I understand that." Kenna said, sympathy on her face. "I'm a werewolf."

 

[Chungus]

With how much blood it was losing, the second chimera's vision began to grow blurry. Having been unable to get off the spear, and likewise unable to get Nanami to lower it to make it possible for it to do so, the chimera decided to play dead, letting itself hang limp.

With Nanami bringing the spear around, the third chimera ended up biting down on it, and took a step backwards after that. After this, however, rather then continue pulling, it threw itself forward, attempting to bowl Nanami over. With how the third chimera moved in its way, the first one couldn't attack, and seeing the second chimera, began to grow disheartened, especially since its combat effectiveness had been reduced by the wound on its paw. As such, it began to back away, although still looked like it could attack at any moment.

That explains the wanting to grow, I suppose. Although letting it get that far is still foolish. "I see. So that's how you reproduce without a male species... I was wondering that." Solaris responded, sounding a little more interested. "So, can your kind reproduce with just one person after they've absorbed enough fluids, or does it need two for a next step?"

Ness sighed and shook her head toward Pat. [color=666666] "No, I don't feel discussing it will yield anything." [/color]
Looking back to Kenna, the woman put a hand to her chin and tilted her head. [color=666666] "Interesting... I was under the impression that a werewolf couldn't control their transformation... or to this sort of degree... How long have you been like this?" [/color]

[color=80bb00] "Though all it really does is create a copy of the same person... For the genetics to change.... well, that's where consuming things other than liquids comes in." [/color]
