Raz's face lit up when Selim responded. "I know! It's- hey where are you going? ...huh." said Raz, not looking at the TV's. He then turned to the newcomer. "Oh hey, didn't see you here before. What are you doing?"
The young man smiled, and waved with his duel disk, smacking it against the table. he scowled, and removed it, setting it on the ground. "Hey. You hanging out with your little buddy?" he asked, ignoring Raz's question intentionally. he slowly slid the lighter back together.
Raz shrugged. "Well I was, but he ran off. Not sure why. Those are some weird lookin cards, what are they?" asked Raz as he got a better look at what the man was up to.
Kenna doubled up slightly due to the kick, and her killing high was starting to wear off as her arm stump bled profusely. She was turning pale. Still, she tried biting, thrashing, kicking, slashing, and everything else she could to kill Seras.
the man smiled, and pulled out a card. he flicked the card, a UFO turtle, towards Raz. "Yu-gi-oh. Something you'd only be able to see in that arena, I'm afraid. Lovely cards though. I like the burny ones..." he said, smiling in fond remembrance.
"I don't. but since we'll be fighting in the arena, and this is my only way to fight..." the man explained, leaning back in his chair. "Unless you haven't pieced together that this is a battle arena?"
Seras' chop connected, and though it didn't cut Kenna's arm off, it did leave a deep, bloody gash. Kenna managed to slash at Sera's midsection, but after that, fell to her knees, bleeding heavily.
Raz thought for a moment. "Hmm well I do remember hearing something about that when I got here, but I wasn't really paying attention... wait... you just got here right? Do you know who that kid was that ran off?" asked Raz, sounding suspicious of something.
Raz held up a finger. "Gimme a sec." he said as he turned around and pulled an ornate tin can out of his pocket, opened it, and smelled the contents. "GAHHHHHH" Yelled Raz as he recoiled from the apparently bad smell. ...Ok I'm still here, so I'm not in that kids brain..." he said as he turned back to the man. "Ok where are we?"
