With her pistol fire, Jinzi managed to peg two crows, after which the murder began flying in more erratic patterns to make them less of an easy target. The murder of crows hadn't picked up a lot of speed yet, and were still somewhat distant from Jinzi. This worked in their advantage, in this instant, as the distance spread the pellets out to much to catch many, only hitting two shadow-crows, which disappeared upon being hit.

In response to Jinzi's changed tactics, the murder of crows spread out more, although each crow continued flying in an eratical pattern. Continuing flying towards Jinzi while gaining speed, steadily drawing closer.

Meanwhile, Phyros took careful moments to aim as he flew, staying behind the murder. After aiming, Phyros opened his beak and fired his entropy at Jinzi, only firing the beam for a second so to not give away his exact position for too long. As such, the beam would only sap a little of Jinzi's energy, if it hit. With his shadow cloak, Phyros would look the same from the angle Jinzi had moved herself in to, as the one she was at before.

By now, the fog had almost entirely cleared up, only really making small-to-mid sized things difficult to see.

Moving to the side of murder had proved more helpful in just affirming that the Phyros' cloud wasn't part of the murder itself but something following instead, and now with it firing off a similar beam as had been shot before it made it all the more clear what that shadow cloak was for. "There you are!" Jinzi exclaimed as she pulled herself, down and to the right of the entropy beam. She would then accelerate towards shadow cloak, pegging a few more crows that would get too close, which she'd roll to a different position in mid flight if it was needed to hit a target that was flying more above her.

If unhindered, once she was withing range where her shotgun spray would cover a large majority of the shadow cloak, she'd break from her approach and circle around the cloak, firing some more shotgun shots at it.

With Jinzi firing on the murder of crows, she managed to peg three more, disappearing as they were shot as before. The remaining three crows were now reaching their top speed of 60 mph, and closing in on Jinzi; two were closing in on her right, one on the left. They approached with their taloned claws raised towards her, aiming to lash out at her whenever the could.

After discontinuing his beam, Phyros flapped his wings harder, approaching Jinzi also, his flying speed a little slower then that of his shadow-crows, relying on his crows to distract Jinzi to have an easier time of getting to her. As they did so, Phyros climbed in altitude to put himself above Jinzi, then dived towards her, his diving speed a great deal faster then one would expect, due to his weight. From the dive, Phyros would try to rake his talons over Jinzi's upper torso, and as he lashed out, a burst of entropic energies would be generated due to Laminus' endowment. If the rake connect, in addition to the gashes the extremely sharp claws would leave, the burst would sap a large portion of Jinzi's energy.

Now, the fog over the ruins and fields had dissipated entirely.

Jinzi seeing the pincer maneuver they were making, weighing her options she would initially bank to the right, pegging off the crow to left before banking back to the right and continuing that way as she dropped in altitude. With the crows avoided for the moment, Jinzi put the rest of her focus on Phyros who had started his dive, while she had started her own. Phyros would still be gaining ground on her, but she'd still have ample time to swap her pistols as he drew closer.

Once Phyros was within reasonable range again, Jinzi would fire two volleys of shotgun shots up at the shadow cloak, hoping to spot either the shots bouncing off of Phyros or some other tell sign for her to let loose shots from her pistol right pistol. The ammo in this one was different than before and would pack a far heavier punch than before. If she didn't see any sign of him in the cloak, she'd open her right wings slightly to pull herself away from the falling Phyros.

Phyros might have been able to clip her with his talons if he was able to make the needed adjustments to his trajectory, although it would be difficult given how much momentum he'd have to deal with due to his weight.

Being so close to Jinzi, Phyros took almost the full brunt of the attack, with only a few pellets whizzing by him, but otherwise being struck heavily. Some of the pellets hit Phyros on the head, which, while breaking the skin and damaging the flesh, failed to penetrate his skull. Others struck his chest, sides and left wings, which penetrated more deeply, the ones in his chest and side less so, where the pellets only penetrated a somewhat small surface of Phyros' dense flesh. The second shotgun blast also peppered most of Phyros' left leg, some of his lower right leg, and further damaged his wing.
From the entry wounds, small droplets of dark red, semi-congealed blood, which might serve as an indicator for Phyros' position, although these droplets were small, and blended in with the darkness of the night.

While shot, Phyros didn't let out a scream, nor did the noise of the gunshots. He was still aware of the damage done to him, however, and rather then allow Jinzi more time to fire at him, became a shadow on the ground directly below where he flew, disappearing from sight. Once on the ground, Phyros' shadow self began slinking back towards the ruins.

The two remaining crows took a moment to bank around after Jinzi went into a dive, then went into a dive themselves, going after her.

Laminus hadn't moved from his spot inside the ruins, now idly drawing crude pictures in the dirt with his cane.

Jinzi would continue her descent as she leveled off, not wanting to slam into the ground. Moreover she felt pretty good about the stupid fog disappearing, now she had proper vision of everything around her including the crows that were still chasing her. With the shadow cloak gone, she searched for any sign of it and when she found no trace of it, she was rightly annoyed. She could have assumed that the shotgun shells must have done something, causing Phyros to flee again, but after not getting the chance to fire her pistol at him really put her in a sour mood.

For now the pressing problem was the remaining two crows that were diving towards her. "Where did he go, these clones he keeps making aren't all that fun to shoot anymore!" She moaned as she took the time the crows used to get closer to her to reload the shotgun, and would promptly take shots at the crows when they came within range.

Unable to escape the spread of the shotgun, the last two crows were quickly dispatched.

Slinking into the ruins as a shadow, moving over obstacles, or through the cracks of them as needed, Phyros made his way to the interior of the ruins, turning physical again. As this happened, droplets of blood began dripping from the bullet wounds again. Looking down to himself, Phyros clacked his beak, deciding things were decidedly not worth the effort. Turning his head up to the ceiling, he called out, A few moments later, Phyros was beamed out of the arena.

Combatant Phyros has surrendered! Combatants Jinzi and Laminus remain!

Hearing the announcement, Laminus cocked an eyebrow, then chuckled. "Huh. Deja vu. Well, then... ." Shrugging to himself, Laminus also surrendered. With the duo dropping out, Jinzi was declared the winner, and the arena reverted back to normal.

Instead of appearing in the locker room as they might expect, Phyros and Laminus found themselves in a dark room, with no visible exit. The walls, floor and roof were all solid metal, and the air was thick with gases. The announcer began to speak, though where from was unclear. "Gentlemen, your performance in battle has been deemed... inadequate. We are very disappointed with the speed in which you surrender." While she spoke, many spikes formed in one of the walls, and corresponding holes on the opposite side.

Finding themselves in the dark room, Phyros and Laminus both looked around. "Ooh. Ominous." Laminus said to himself, while looking to see if there were any holes in the room, smelling the gas. Phyros, meanwhile, looked to see if there was anyone with a heartbeat nearby, being able to see such through objects up to two metres thick, and unimpeded by darkness.

Phyros questioned, after Laminus gave a rough translation of what was being said, speaking as he looked, and doing so more frantically upon seeing the spikes emerge.

"Wait which one was Phyros...?" Jinzi said to herself as she heard the announcer. She didn't have long to think that however as Laminus forfeited and the announcer announced Jinzi's victory did she slowly descend to the ground, stunned. "You cocky little shits wasted my time and am-" She fell silent for a moment as she seemed to be fiddling with something on her neck. "That can't be right? It's all back!" Jinzi commented in disbelief. "I could have use all my expensive ammo, and it cost me nothing!"

"Where did they go anyways?" Jinzi asked to herself, wondering where those two bozos got to.

The room was entirely sealed, and no live-signs could be seen around it. "Surrender is only to be considered once there is no chance of victory. In this room, gentlemen, we... motivate lackluster combatants to give their all in the Arena." She paused, and a distinct clunk was heard as the spiked wall began to move. "We have a reputation for brave fighters and hard-fought battles, and, as I'm sure you understand, we can't let that reputation slip." Though it was perhaps of minor concern, the room appeared to be getting quite a bit warmer, though not quite yet at the point of discomfort.

"Then you should've picked someone else for this shit!" Laminus exclaimed loudly, his devil may care attitude dropping quickly as the spiked wall sprang into motion. "Not my fault you picked the wrong people, you horse fuckers!"

Phyros would've been surprised by Laminus' outburst, if it wasn't for the situation. Approaching one of the walls, Phyros threw himself against it with a heavy metallic clunk, then began raking at the walls with his talons, sharp enough to slice through iron, hoping to claw a way out.

The wall was slightly scratched beneath Phyros's talons. He would not have time to investigate it, however, as the slice had caused a spark. The highly flammable gasses in the room were set ablaze, and in a flash the entire room was scorched. Phyros and Laminus however, would still be alive, though not spared of any injuries. The wall began to quicken up, and there was hardly a minute left until it would reach it's destination. "We have great confidence, gentlemen, that your resolve will be steadfast when you are next called to the arena. If you fight for all your worth, you will find us a most grateful host. Thank you for your cooperation."

As the room ignited, Laminus let out a muffled scream when the flames enveloped him. When the gasses had burned up, he had fallen on the metal floor, lightly convulsing, while drawing in small gasps of air. His clothing had been set alight by the fire, but wasn't in a position to do anything about it.

Phyros fared better against the flames with only his feathers, partial first layer of the skin, and the eyes being damaged. The fire left his usual pale blue eyes bloodshot, but still working, if more poorly. Not feeling the pain, Phyros looked to Laminus, and ran over to him, taking Laminus' left horn in his beak, and dragging him towards the wall with the holes in it to buy him some time. " he urged after dragging Laminus, looking to the enclosing spiked wall.

As the wall closed in on the two, it slowed down again, so that at first they could only stand up, then so that they had to press against the holed wall, then finally it pushed close enough that the spikes pressed into their skin. After only a few centimetres of penetration however, it stopped. After a few seconds of silence, some mixture of salt and lemon juice was extruded from the spikes, into the two captive's flesh. Then, a sharp shock of electricity surged through into them. It was not powerful enough to kill, or even cause loss of muscle control, but it was very painful. The two would be left there for what seemed like hours, now and then shocked again, or have the spikes pushed slightly further in. They would not fall unconscious, nor die of their wounds, until finally, after being shocked more times than they could count, and with the spikes far into their bodies, the announcer spoke again. "Now you understand gentlemen, how important your contribution is to us. Do not disappoint us again." With that, the spikes suddenly smashed forward, instantly killing the two. They would wake up again, lying in beds in the dorm, with no visible trace of their punishment.

"Well, I'm up for a match. I could do a one on one until first to get knocked out." EMily said in a light tone, shrugging, not wanting to put herself in a deadly situation but still looking for a fair fight.

<color=purple>"I could go for one as well." Gwen crossed her arms.

Jinzi would eventually walk away from the arena. Her better judgement told her to stay in a more open area for her to move freely, but knowing what happened in this room with the morphing room made her reconsider. Not knowing what she was going to deal with, she loaded into one pistol a kinetic cartridge, which would send out a force wave of sorts when fired, something she had as a non-lethal method yet still effective.

She'd disappear for now if there wasn't anyone to talk with her.

Reacting to being spurred on by Phyros, Laminus slowly climbed into a sitting position. Before he could do anything, however, the spikes jabbed into him, piercing into his the bones of his shins more then other body parts, due to his position. With eyes squeezed shut, Laminus cried out in pain, echoing between the two walls. This was cut short the wound aggregating mixture was introduced to the wound; the salt quelling what blood trickled from the as the salt drank it. With eyes squeezed shut, Laminus sat still, save for the involuntary spasms. Tears ran down his face while he weakly whimpered.

In the lull in between the last treatment and the electroshock, Laminus tried to get his breathing under control, until the aforementioned electroshocks fired up. Lacking the air in his lungs to scream at the treatment, Laminus only wheezed and whimpered, weakly and futilely thrashing about.

Not feeling the pain, Phyros tried to turn into a shadow form, but found he was incapable of turning. He closed his eyes as Laminus' pained screams filled his ears, then decided that if he was going to die, he wouldn't go out granting the arena operators the satisfaction of snuffing his life out. Forcefully wriggling his body, he moved into a position where a spoke was pointing in between his rub, then twisting body around. With his beaked tensed, Phyros pushed himself forward, untol the spike pierced his heard, whereupon he fell dead.

After several electroshock treatments, Laminus was barely conscious, his mind shutting down as it was flooded with pain. Then, the spiked wall rushed forward; bones snapped, and blood squirted from various locations as skin burst like a balloon, ending with a wet mush as the two walls touched.

After it all, when the two found themselves in the beds, alive, they laid still, doing nothing and making no sound.

"It's a dragonfly girl. Howdy there." She waved.

<color=purple>"I guess I'll head out there, and see who wants a match."

"Good luck out there Gwen! I know you can do it!"

<color=purple>"Thank you, EM!" She smiled back as she exited the locker room. <color=purple>"Now which way is this arena place? Ah here we go." She said out loud to herself.

OOC: I don't know how the hallways work here.

"What... the...?" The woman in red said to herself as she looked around the large arena she found herself in.

Once she finally got to the arena Gwen would see the woman's antlers, long ears, and the dress and jacket combo with her leg wears around her calves. As Gwen approached the entrance way to the arena, the woman's ears would perk up as she turned around, a hand going to her chest as she pivoted. "A, maid?" She said to herself, her large eyes looking Gwen over. "Uh, hello! Would you know where I am?" She waved.

Mistletoe would look around 30ish, brunette, brown eyes, fit, and have a bit of a colour patterning to her skin making her look more like a deer similar to how Sophia had her mask. She also has hoofed feet and four fingers.

"Howdy nothing, what the hell is going on here?" Jinzi stated rather aggrevatedly to EMily, her one pistol aiming straight at EMily. "Where am I, why did a bird somehow take gunfire like it was nothing, and who the hell are you?" She stated, rolling her off hand around as she listed off her questions.
