Victoria held her staff out in front of herself as she continued to approach Junkil. In an instant, a slender blade of yellowish light, 25cm in length, appeared at the end she held away from herself. Once in range, she quickly jabbed her forward forward like a spear at Junkil with her left arm, while holding her right at her side.

 

[Kirke]

Junkil instinctively raised one leg to protect himself, and screamed in pain as the blade sliced through it. Losing his grip, he fell forward, bouncing, sliding and rolling across the deck as he clutched his leg. His eyes were once again closed, as he focused on calming himself down.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Well, guess we're just cleaning this up."

Victoria muttered to herself after watching Junkil tumble downward. She turned around to face where Junkil had fallen, then took a few steps forward. She leaped off the wall, pouncing at Junkil and stabbing with her spear once more, aiming to drive her weapon into his torso.

 

[Kirke]

Junkil hit the other railing with a thud, though his fall was somewhat lessened by the water that had just about risen above it by now. He looked up, and saw Victoria leap. In a desperate and somewhat suicidal manoeuvre, he rolled off the railing into the water. As he sank down into the depths, he focused on the people he loved and his memories of them. His hands, still clutching the injured leg, began to glow a deep red and his wound started closing.

[color=cc3300]"So, what's Ylisse like? You guys got electricity?"[/color] Kirstin asked.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Thunder magic is common, but I can't use it. I'm not particularly gifted with the arcane."

[color=cc3300]"Me neither, obviously."[/color] Kirstin replied, tugging at her uneven, red hair.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Good with that though." Lucina gestured to the rifle. "What is it again, a... gun?"

[color=cc3300]"Yeah, this is a gun. I'm a pretty decent shot. Never had to kill a human before, though..."[/color] Kristin said, idly trying to flatten her hair.

"It is hard sometimes..." Lucina said, suddenly seeming much older.

The railing couldn't stand up to Victoria's weight and the force of her jump and she struck it, causing her to tear completely through as she hit it. Once she was fully submerged, the mass of her legs started shifting, ending when her feet had essentially became flippers. Her spear vanished in a flight of light as she swam towards Junkil in a hustle.

 

[Slenn]

"Oh? Kodriis must be a region of the world you live on. Does your world have a name?"

<color=green>"Here's our world, Earth. Along with its moon, aptly named... well... just "The Moon" or "Luna." Winona chuckled as she materialized her Z0 hammer. The head of the hammer projected a hologram of Earth, along with the Moon to scale. <color=green>"Of course, the moon is much farther away from the Earth in this model. Here I'm just comparing sizes."

<color=brown>"That's our home in the cosmos alright." Sara gave a nostalgic smile.

[color=00c0c0]"Na, Kodriis is just the name of the city we live in. Drawan is the name of the planet."[/color] Jinzi answered EMily. Jinzi initially didn't seem to register Winona's comment at first as she was still looking at EMily, but as her upper right arm accurately started tracing over the hologram that seemed that wasn't entirely true. [color=00c0c0]"So that's what your Earth looks like? Funny, for a name like Earth, seems like you got plenty of blue stuff on it. Never seen one of these before though, what's this 'moon' doing near your planet?"[/color] Jinzi asked as she pointed at the moon specifically.

"Nearly 71% of the planet's surface is covered by water. That same water has been on that planet for hundreds of millions of years, in clouds, rivers, storms, lakes, oceans, and life."

<color=green>"The Moon is another world that orbits around the Earth. It takes approximately one month or 28 days to make a complete orbit. In fact the words 'moon' and 'month' come from the same origin." the hologram 'moved' the two projections away from one another and zoomed out to show the sizes and distances to scale. <color=green>"To scale, that's how far away the moon is. We've known about this object since before the written word was ever invented."

<color=brown>"And Earth is just one of many other planets that orbit the sun."

[color=00c0c0]"So then if it's been there all that time, why call it 'Earth'? Water or, I d'know, Aqua sounds like a much better name for a planet covered in water."[/color] Jinzi commented on the odd naming practice that must have gone into naming the Earth.

[color=00c0c0]"Ya, we don't have one of those on Drawan, not sure what that would do if that thing spin around us. Just seems odd to me to be honest."[/color] Jinzi commented. [color=00c0c0]"And by Sun, you mean a star I'm guessing?"[/color]

 

[Slenn]

"My only guess is that, since human life didn't start in the sea, but on land, they didn't think too much about the quantity of water on the planet. It took a long while before human life set out to the open seas after all. Before that happened, we were trying to just survive on land. By the time we created ships capable of traversing the open oceans and even just seas we already had concrete names such as 'Terra', and 'Earth'. Both alluding to the ground, or the soil. If humans were sea creatures, we might have a different name for the planet altogether."

<color=green>"Our sun is a star. It generates all our heat and light of course." Winona had the hologram zoom out once more, showing a scale model of the solar system, with all the planets labelled as well as their orbit tracks. <color=green>"There's Earth. It takes 365 days to orbit around the sun. And that's what's considered one year."

[color=00c0c0]"Okay, wait hold on."[/color] Jinzi said as she raised all four arms up like she was surrendering, her tone sounding like she was having a bit of an information overload. [color=00c0c0]"When did this turn into a history lesson? Look, I get it. You really, really like facts."[/color] Jinzi said as she brought one hand over so she could rub at the small patch of her skull between her two large eyes.

[color=00c0c0]"Hell I wish Azmot were here, always had way more patience for this."[/color]

 

[Slenn]

"Well, I was postulating a guess." EMily shrugged

Winona chuckled.
<color=green>"I guess it's hard for us to describe our home without going into so much detail into our own cosmos. And it can be a lot to take in, I know. It's like that for children on our world as well." The hologram reset itself to just Earth rotating with the current weather conditions as well.

"Don't be afraid to ask for clarification. We love explaining things. The whole universe is fascinating to us." She smiled.

<color=brown>"Do you mind if I ask what your world is like?"

When Winona and EMily continued with their explanation of why they explained things, Jinzi's head fell forwards with a huff of apparent defeat. [color=00c0c0]'If this is some sort of divine punishment for my comment about Azmot not being here, I'm sorry. It was a joke, and I was wrong, so wrong.'[/color] She lamented in her mind.

When Sara asked her own question, Jinzi quickly picked her head back up. [color=00c0c0]"Um, yes?"[/color] She then paused before immediately correcting herself. [color=00c0c0]"Wait, no. No? Yes, No! What do you want to know!?"[/color] She stated as she fumbled for the moment on the question for a brief period, her arms actually gesturing like she was looking at how the logic was supposed to go.

OoC: It has also come to my attention by a particular individual (Nail), that I failed to mention that Jinzi has abs like a goddess. Although not all that important, he has stolen my face until I repair this damage, so now I can have my face back now. Thank you.
